Thor Static Knee Guard
Great product. Easy on and off. Provides protection where I need it: Knee and Shin. Great for dirt biking and works well with loose fitting jeans when riding a sport bike. If street riding will take a bit of getting used to when using your knees to grip the tank on the bike. For the price they are good protection.

Good Protection for $$
These were bought for my first track day event, as the protection in my pants moves around quite a bit and have limited adjustability.
I bought these and tried them while cruising the back roads and really like the increased protection. They are quite warm. Also, they way the upper velcro straps join behind the knees is pretty uncomfortable, probably because my knees are normally bent quite a bite due to low seat height vs foot peg height. If the upper strap joined on top of the knee I think it would be much more comfortable and improve the design.

These knee guards are a good price
I tried these on and they fit large on the lower portion of knee guard (calf area) the velcro overlapped. They also seemed to have no ventilation so they got a little warm.

If these were built properly they'd be great.
Bought these eslewhere, not Revzilla and had them about 12 months and they have been worn almost everyday. I wear them over my jeans mostly for my short (20mins) commute to work. For longer trips I wear them under my jeans or overpants. At first they are a little uncomfortable as the large neoprene straps bunch up behind the knees and there is no real adjustment range. They do get more comfortable once they have broken in though. They stay in place either over or under jeans. There is almost no airflow and so they do get a bit warm on hot days but not unbearably so.

The really disappointing thing with these is the poor build quality. The stiching has failed in places including the stiching on the velcro which has now almost completely fallen off and these guards won't last much longer. The other problem with these is the stupid logo in the middle of the knee guard. It has sharp corners and will eventually wear holes in the knees of your jeans just through normal use. I filed mine flat which is much better but it did expose a small hole as the logo is pressed out from the inside.

I realise these are mostly designed for moto X but they could so easily be made into awesome street riding guards if they were designed and built a little better.

Good make & quality feel. Covers shin & knee well. Only con is that it is very warm.
lcap on Sep 14, 2016
it would obviously run warmer than most other knee guards but got them for the fact that they cover a lot of skin especially the calves.

Does the Thor Static knee/shin guard come in one size fits all or can one choose a specific size (S/M/L/XL)?
Thanks lots
A shopper on Oct 24, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Thor Static knee guard to my knowledge comes in one size fits all there is no size specification on them. They are labeled to each knee left to left knee and right to right knee.
Are these sold as a pair or do I need to order 2?
A shopper on May 5, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The Thor Static Knee Guard is sold as a pair. One for each leg. Left and Right. Like socks!
Would you classify this as more of a dirt guard or a street usable piece of protection?
A shopper on Apr 30, 2012
BEST ANSWER: The Thor Static Knee Guard would be classified as a dirt type of protection.
