I am 5'4", 125lbs and size 6...somtimes but rarely a 4. I bought these in a size 8 because I had read they are small. Yes they are small but only in the waist/hip area. I took them to a tailor to have 5" taken off the bottom...so if you are on the tall side, you'll like these better. I also had the waist let out and redone so that I could get them TO my hips. They orignally stopped at the middle of my butt (lowrider extreme). That being said, they now fit perfectly and I love the protection they provide. The leather is nice and thick but not too stiff. The knee protection is fantastic and after one year of use in all kinds of weather (10k miles), these pants are still worth the extra work to get the fit right.

Beautiful Pants, But Sized for Midgets!!

I wish they had a rating for 4 or 5 sizes smaller because this company needs new sizing charts!
So here's the deal:
In regular clothes, I wear an 8 or 10. My boyfriend bought me these pants and we went per the sizing chart based on my measurements. Sizing chart dictated an 8. I was so excited!! Until they arrived.
I tried them on and I kid you not, I couldn't pull them over my knees. I expected them to be a little tight for leathers, but really?!! So then we exchanged them and because the sizing was sooo off, we didn't get 10s. We didn't even get 12s. We ordered 14s!!! Never in my life have I been a 14, but I didn't care, as long as they fit! Guess what? They came, I put them on, and they STILL didn't fit!! I couldn't effen button them up! about an inch too small. Ridiculous. I am 5'10", weigh 150 lbs and am very muscular with very little body fat. I was over these pants.

No, I do not recommend this product.

sturdy good-looking pants

These pants are very sturdy and good quality, and the fit is great. I would say that you don't really need to buy a whole size bigger, but rather, you would need to get the higher of the sizes that you wear.
For example, in normal clothes I am a size 2 or 4, and I got these pants in a 4, and they fit great. The fit is snug, but it's comfortable nonetheless. For reference, my thighs are 38" and waist 28". I am 5'7" and the length is great, the pants just touch the floor, and yet there is no need for tailoring.
The cut is flare at the bottom, which I think would need to be tucked into the boots, but the pants look great. The leather is thick and feels very sturdy. I can feel the knee protectors, but they are not uncomfortable.
The only thing that I would like changed is an elastic band at the back, so there is no gap exposing my lower back when I'm riding. But otherwise, great pants. I'm happy with them.

Cons Cramped

Teknic Jacket and Race Suits are European Cut and are more narrow in the arms, chest and shoulders than other brands.  Their leathers are particularly form fitting.  RevZilla recommends ordering Jackets and Suits one size larger than Tekinc size charts suggest.
