Yes it comes with a spine protector panel. Also, the shoulder and elbow pads are adjustable

Teknic Jacket and Race Suits are European Cut and are more narrow in the arms, chest and shoulders than other brands.  Their leathers are particularly form fitting.  RevZilla recommends ordering Jackets and Suits one size larger than Tekinc size charts suggest.
