Teknic Women's Sequoia Jacket
Just the right fit
Fit and style of this jacket are perfect for me. The adjustments on the arms and waist allow for a range of fits depending on what you're wearing underneath. The sizing chart was true to size. I'm 5'9", 170 lbs and the size ten is perfect. The elbow guards fall in the right place, so you don't even realize they're there.
Very happy with this purchase!

Fun Ladies Jacket
I bought this jacket three years ago and I've been using it since. I and 5'6" 130 lbs and I wear the 6. It is a little generous.
The pink color is fun and extremely visible. People tell me all the time that they see me in town and on the highway. I have very long arms and usually have a very hard time getting sleeves long enough. These ARE. The jacket is very durable. The pink can get dirty but it washes spotless. Very easy to get armor in and out. Nice strong zipper. Insulated liner zips in and out in a flash. Awesome waist adjustability. Right hand chest pocket is accessible with or without liner.
Liner folds into itself and creates a pouch. There is a waist strap w clip to wear it like a belly bag in case you have no storage.
Back protection is weak; I'd upgrade it. The neck is huge. I can fit a hefty sweatshirt underneath and still get wind down the neck. If I cinch the neck Velcro all the way I get a gigantic pucker where the zipper is. The neck Velcro fails quickly. When I want it to stay shut, it won't. When I want it to fold to the inside and not use it; it won't stay and scratches my neck. A snap replacement might solve this. On my Ducati Monster I get wind up the back of the jacket. This does not happen on the V-Strom. Left side chest zipper pocket is not accessible without unzipping the liner up the left side. I've gotten used to keeping my wallet in there so I'm used the double zipping. Decided that a secret pocket isn't such a bad idea. The jacket FAILS at airflow. If it is over 75, liner out, I am dying. It does not matter if I am on sport or touring. On the flip side, I am usually freezing. The jacket alone is not good enough for me in NorCal.
This is not an all weather jacket.
I said 'yes' that I would recommend the jacket because over-all for the price it is a good jacket. You just have to be in the appropriate climate. It is not a Northern California winter jacket. It is not a hot weather jacket.

The jacket, was all that it was made out to be on line.
I love this jacket. It is true to size and comfortable with velcro tabs at hips and waist for comfort fitting. It does not have adequate airflow and is too warm for Oklahoma summers, but I will enjoy wearing it in cooler weather. I removed the quilted lining, thinking it would make it cooler, but the inner plastic like lining, was stifling in the heat.
The bright pink makes me visible on the road. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase. Great value for the money paid!
