Teknic Jet Stream 2-Piece Rain Suit 3.8 5 45 45
Great for the price, but unwieldy. For the price, this is an excellent starter rainsuit. The jacket can be donned quickly and seals up fairly well. The reflective stripe is a nice touch. The pants are fairly long, but this is no big deal for a rainsuit. The biggest issue I have is that the PVC material makes it very difficult to put this on over boots with any rubber-soled boot or shoe. I find I have to take my boots off to don or remove the suit. Not a huge deal, but if I got caught in the rain I don't want to have to take my shoes off. The suit remains fairly bulky as well. I may try to find a little compression sack for it so that it doesn't take up quite as much room in my saddlebags. Overall, this is a great starter suit, but is better suited to rides when you already know it's raining than it is to carrying around for sudden downpours. May 19, 2014
Does the necessary! If you looking for function, this works. If your looking for form, this is not what your looking for. But it will keep you dry in a time of need. April 15, 2014
Rainsuit is OK, oddly sized two piece suit I have used this rainsuit twice, once by choice and the second was an unexpected downpour. The suit functions well in keeping you dry however it is oddly sized. Has zero ventilation and I was sweating by the time I got to the office. I am 6'1" 220 - bought an XL. The pants fit well but are a little long. Not a big deal (better long than short). The coat is way too big even with my regular riding jacket on under it. It is more of a "I know what you did last summer" slasher, weirdo suit. Would be better suited on a boat than a motorcycle. I have since purchased a light weight one piece suit that fits better and has way better ventilation and fit. It weighs about 12lb and is about the size of a watermelon when rolled up (ok, a little smaller, but not much). Carrying it around in a backpack when the weather is threatening is not a good option. Not a bad product. Just not the right once for me. April 14, 2014
Bad JAcket Design There are both velcro and zipper closures for the jacket. You can not use both at the same time because the fabric on the overlapping rain flaps prevent it. The jacket is enormously long and the pants are extremely narrow, especially for pants that are deisgned ar overpants. The seams rip fairly easy and the pvc material melts at the slightest touch of hot metal. April 7, 2014
This is a good product For the price, the product more then meets my needs. March 24, 2014
Unbeatable for the price I bought this product as my first set of rain gear. It is definitely waterproof as it is made from a very thick material. I find the bulk of the rain jacket a little excessive but it will also fit directly over the armored riding jacket I normally wear which is very nice. I keep the pants on me at all times they go on and off with the boots on without much of a problem. I haven't been in any rain as of yet but I'm sure they will work. I have worn the pants to block the wind in temps in the high 30's they function ok for this. March 24, 2014
Unbeatable bang for the buck factor At first glance it looks very well constructed. I tested with some light rain and it worked very well. Velcro straps on sleeves should be better in order to seal with your gloves. Overall great bang for the buck in this case. March 24, 2014
Cheap but not convenient I live in Florida and my bike is used for commuting too and from work. I needed something that was going to protect me from lots of water which it does. However if I want something that I can store in my backpack that I can break open on the fly it does not fit that requirement. It is quite heavy as well. March 17, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Eric M: Cold and rain go together so I needed something that was going to protect me from the rain and not fly all over the place like a plastic bag. This suit works perfectly - even at high speed - 100mph + Jun 28, 2014

karl r: I don't currently have a full rain suit and this 2-piece suit definitely won't be as good as 1-piece, or a better 2-piece for that matter, but for 20$ I can't say no... I can ball it up in my gear bag and pull it out if I ever need the protection. Mar 20, 2014

Grant A asked: Which size would be comfortable for a 38" chest and about a 32-33" waist? Would I also need to account for its fitting over the jacket and pants being worn, or is that already considered in the sizes with some extra give? Sep 23, 2013

Mark M: I am about a 38 chest/ 33 waist- the MED worked out great for me. I tend to like to wear a light jacket underneath and like to have some room- it is sized appropriately for that. Sep 23, 2013

Grant A: Awesome. Thank you! Sep 23, 2013
david h: I normally wear a 2XL in jackets and I ordered a 2XL and the top fit over a bulky leather jacket which is what I wanted. the pants fit over blue jeans with lots of room. if you were naked it would probably be pretty loose. So my guess is to order the size you usually wear and the suit will be sized to go over that. Sep 23, 2013

ariel guillermo alejandro a: Hi, I am 38 chest and 32 waist, 5' 7" height... and a non english speaker, so please excuse my poor writing. I got a medium size last year, and I am able to wear this over all my clothes, no problem, I am happy. Hope it helps. Sep 24, 2013
Edward W: Based on the measurements provided, I would recommend that you go with a size medium to fit over top of your regular gear. Sep 23, 2013

A shopper asked: i wear a 46 jacket with some shoulder and elbow armour, should i be sizing up to the XL for it being meant to fit over my 46 jacket, or stick with the Large if its meant as a sizing already made bigger to fit over?

thanks

Jack G: These suits are already sized to fit over your gear. Trust me when I say these things are HUGE. I got a Large and it was way too big (I'm normally a 48). Not sure if they have changed the sizing since I got mine a couple of years ago. Dec 17, 2013

Sasa M: Hi. I wear 44 (or L) jacket L size pants. I ordered L size rain suit and the suit fits nice over both jacket and pants The sizing already accommodate room for your regular gear. Suite works great. I hope that this helps. Dec 19, 2013

Patricia G: The suit was made to fit over your clothing with armour. Don't size up. Stick with large. This suit fit over my gear and armour with room to spare. Dec 19, 2013

A shopper asked: I'm 6'2''. What size suit should i order? Dec 2, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
david h: i'm 6"2" and 240, normally wear a 2XL shirt and the 2xl fit me with plenty of room over a heavy leather jacket. if you are more slender I would guess an XL would work. probably just order your normal shirt size because apparently the suit is sized to fit over clothing. Dec 9, 2013

Thanks

Bill K asked: Are these sized to fit over racing leathers with a speed hump ?? (suit brand-RS Taichi) Dec 23, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Edward WStaff: No, this suit is designed of commuting and touring riders who ride in the up right or slightly forward riding position. It is not designed for a race suit with a hump or a race tuck riding position. RevZilla does carry rain suits for race suits from a couple of different brands. Jan 16, 2014
