RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Susan T: Excellent Value Mar 21, 2014
Erika K: I'm going to do a track day for the first time and chose this affordable back protection. It is required to have a hard back protector in the state I'm doing the track day. Dec 30, 2013
A shopper asked: I don't see a size selection, is this one size fits all? Sep 15, 2013

Justin L: Yes. One size fits all. It has a Velcro waist strap that tightens around the lower torso so it remains snug under leathers or jacket. velcro waist strap makes it adjustable for any size waist. no shoulder harness straps though like my other Teknic back protector. Good purchase for the price though. Very well built in my opinion. It just doesn't get a lot of use from me since I normally wear my other Teknic back protector since it has the shoulder straps. Scott M: It's one size, but the back protector has a velcro strap around the waist. I'm 5'7 165lbs and it fits comfortably under full leather suit or mesh jacket. Sep 15, 2013

A S asked: Will this fit in a Teknic Supervent Pro Jacket? Mar 20, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Justin L: I was always very happy with any product I purchases I have made from the Teknic product line, as I feel mostTeknic products represent a higher quality option in comparison with similar products made by other brands. This is the one product I have purchased by Teknic that I felt could use some improvement. I also own the Teknic Speedstar spine guard back protector which is fantastic, although far more expensive. The Teknic 7 Link Spine Guard just felt too big & bulky in my opinion and I didn't like how the back protector didn't fee secured to the shape of my body. A hefty velcro strap system attaches the back protector to your body and wraps it very snug around your waist, but only there! It feels floppy up towards the top of my back & upwards of the neck line.

The good news about this product is that it is very cheap for what you are purchasing. It is constructed of very strong & solid materials, so I'm sure it does it's job just fine if employed in the proper manner. Can't go wrong with this one for the price, but not the best available protection option out there from a functionality standpoint as well as the price tag. Hope this helps.

chad n: I have no clue, but it's horribly designed. It has a waist belt, but nothing on the top, so it always feels like it is pushing your jacket out. & don't even think about wearing this with a tshirt, etc, not gonna happen. Unless this entire piece fits inside a slip cover of another jacket, it's a total waist of money imho. Mar 21, 2014

A shopper asked: Will this fit in the Teknic Supervent Mesh Jacket and is it CE approved? Jun 21, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Teknic Supervent Mesh Jacket takes a different shape back protector than the 7 Link Spine Guard. Teknic does not currently offer a back protector upgrade for the Supervent so we recommend using the Knox TP2 Advance X CE Back Protector or Forcefield Sport Lite Back Protector Insert (Size Small) which are CE-rated or the Forcefield BackPad Insert Pro (Type B, Size SM) which is CE Level 2-Rated.
