I got this jacket on sale this past summer, It is quite a versatile jacket as far as seasons go. It can be used from spring well into fall , it's surprisingly warm in the fall and well vented for summer riding. It's worth every penny in my book.
I have never gone down in this jacket(Hope I never do) but it's build quality seems quite good and in my opinion would hold up nicely if you just so happen to go down hard. It really does feel a bit better made than most textile jackets.
If you have a Thinner waist like me and some jackets fit you baggy in the mid section I highly recommend this jacket as the side straps are Velcro and very adjustable. Though it seems it could fit most body types nicely.
Overall I'd say SS has made a really good jacket here, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
