Shogun Frame Sliders Kawasaki Ninja 250 R

Shogun sliders are superior to other slider brands by virtue of their construction and material--shatter-proof UHMW infused with UV protective polymer. Shogun sliders absorb kinetic energy from crashes and will not shatter in cold temperature like some types of Delrin or fade in the sun. Each slider has a press fit aluminum bushing (excluding bar ends) to hold it in place during impact to reduce the risk of the slider puck or spool tearing off of the mounting point. Shogun frame slider offsets are CNC machined from the same grade aluminum as military aircraft. Offsets are anodized black to match OEM components. Each offset is manufactured to stringent specifications with ISO 9000 quality control.

Each Shogun Frame Slider comes with high tensile strength corrosion resistant hardware (cheap imitators do not use high grade hardware and will quickly rust). Shogun uses socket head bolts in nearly every kit, allowing for stronger frame slider design in a more compact space. Newer applications of Shogun Frame Sliders make use of a counter sunk design, which distributes the force of impact over a wider area and gives additional strength to the system so that the puck remains attached to the motorcycle.

Designed by racers, sold by racers, for the serious rider!

Sold as a pair

Note: Carbon S5 Frame Sliders include a black anodized T-6061 end cap.

Feels durable and easy to install
I have a small ninja 250 and went down on it when I first got it last season. I got these with the hopes that if I do go down again, it won't completely mess up my bike. They were easy to install, with only a small cut in the cover by the shifter (the picture doesn't really show it, but it shows the area). No need to cut any part of the side panels. Check online for the installation instructions, there is a website on a sheet of paper that comes with it.

Works great
I didn't do the install, so I cannot comment on the ease. These went onto my wife's bike. Our next ride resulted in a 0mph drop. No damage but a small scuff on the slider. They worked as they should.

Easy installation and stylish
This product is very easy to install and has a sleek design that protects the engine and fairings incase of a drop or crash and doesn't get in the way of your legs while riding. I feel it's makes the bike look better. I would highly recommend this product.

Mostly cut free frame sliders
For the most part this Frame Slider was easy to install minus the fact that you have to saw off part of your chain guard to make room for the left side frame slider. Also you would have to be careful not to burst your radiator hose on the leftside when installing the new engine bolt since that hose is in the way.
Outside of that the frame sliders work great and the parts that they give you covers everything you would need when putting them on. Since it utilizes both the top and rear engine mounts it is extremely sturdy and doesn't move.
Overall great product with some minor difficulties in installation.
