standard Shoei chin curtain...just ok I was under the impression...I believe, due to a review I read that this was a chin-curtain upgrade to the standard chin curtain that comes with the X-11. That is not the case however...anyhow, the chin curtain that came with the helmet began to crack just underneath one of the side, "hooks" that keeps it attached to the helmet. So far this newer one is holding up. Not very much to the chin curtain...price should be more like under $10 bucks. I sport a slightly lengthy goatee, so the chin curtain prevents it from flapping in the wind. I would probably buy again if I had to though. May 24, 2011
A great improvement on the original chin curtain The chin curtain that came with my X-11 was a piece of junk. The plastic portion separated within 2 months. This replacement fits flush to the base on the helmet and looks be longer lasting. February 8, 2010
