Shoei St-Cruz Helmet
Great classic at super price.
I was looking for a classic cruiser style helmet and this fit the bill. It was on sale, in stock and delivered in two days!

The best helmet you can get in this format (half helmet).
Shoei is the King when it comes to helmet, and this half helmet is no exception. It does as good a job as is possible in the half helmet arena. If you are looking for comfort on hot days and quality in construction and fit, pay the extra bucks and buy a Shoei. The only omission on this helmet is a snap on the chinstrap. But, the strap can be easily tucked away.

just what you should expect
it fits right. I measured my wife and myself just like it's recommended, around your head just above your browline. I bought the exact size it recommended and it fits us both great. The road noise is really not a problem for me as my bike has a full fairing. If you want a quieter ride, you'll be better to pick a 3/4 or full face than any 1/2 helmet. I like this helmet. I paid a little more for a Shoei than other 1/2 helmets would of cost but I'm also comfortable knowing it's made solid. Some people complained about the extra chinstrap flapping in the wind but I didn't have this issue probably due to the full fairing.

Really like the air flow options
I wish the chin strap had a snap as well like other helmets> I dont like the strap haning after you tighten up the helmet. The Shoei sticker was off center on the helmet - it was so bad I had to remove it. Please focus on quality inspections...

Price to high
A good helmet, but not a standout! A size medium fit my 58cm head. Helmet bag is inferior. Go to the 99 cent store and get a better helmet bag. Front Shoei emblem misaligned. No response from Shoei regarding this problem. Just wanted another emblem. Price is to high for what you get! When I pay this much for a half helmet, I'm picky!

Not a top of the line Shoei product
i had to return the helmet to get a smaller size. I have a Shoei Multitech in a large. I ordered this helmet in a large. I could almost spin it around on my head.
The large also had a long strap without a place to store the excess. The medium strap was barely long enough.
It seems to me made for an oval head.
I was hoping for Shoei quality and fit. It just doesn't quite make it.

Great helmet and a good price
The St Cruz Shoei helmet offers a good fit, good construction/safety and a light to average weight for an open faced helmet. I would recommend this helmet.

It's a Shoei, but.....
I am a big Shoei full-face helmet fan. The shape of my head has always felt best in their lids. I wanted to try a half-helmet for specific riding so I decided to stay with Shoei.
I normally wear XXL in the full face Shoei, however I found that this helmet runs a little big, so I had to return it for an XL that did fit well.
Finish is great, just like any Shoei. The liner and padding is fine and there is plenty of padding in the helmet to protect the cranium.
I was disappointed with the design of the straps and the clumsy D-rings. The strapping is definitely below the quality and grade I expect from a Shoei. The awkward feel of the D-ring as you work the strap through it is less than impressive. There is no fold-back-and-snap feature to secure the excess strap you pull through the D-rings. Shoei needs to put a lot more thought in this design. This is not rocket science.
This is only a half-helmet, so a serious rider would most likely opt for a full-face. But if you are in the market for a half lid, it's worth a look, even if the straps need some afterthought. It does incorporate the legendary Shoei padding and linings, so it has some good attributes that the cheap dog-bowl lids simply do not have.
