Shoei St Cruz helmet
A good helmet, but not a standout! A size medium fit my 58cm head. Helmet bag is inferior. Go to the 99 cent store and get a better helmet bag. Front Shoei emblem misaligned. No response from Shoei regarding this problem. Just wanted another emblem. Price is to high for what you get! When I pay this much for a half helmet, I'm picky!

i had to return the helmet to get a smaller size. I have a Shoei Multitech in a large. I ordered this helmet in a large. I could almost spin it around on my head.
The large also had a long strap without a place to store the excess. The medium strap was barely long enough.
It seems to me made for an oval head.
I was hoping for Shoei quality and fit. It just doesn't quite make it.

The St Cruz Shoei helmet offers a good fit, good construction/safety and a light to average weight for an open faced helmet. I would recommend this helmet.

I am a big Shoei full-face helmet fan. The shape of my head has always felt best in their lids. I wanted to try a half-helmet for specific riding so I decided to stay with Shoei.
I normally wear XXL in the full face Shoei, however I found that this helmet runs a little big, so I had to return it for an XL that did fit well.
Finish is great, just like any Shoei. The liner and padding is fine and there is plenty of padding in the helmet to protect the cranium.
I was disappointed with the design of the straps and the clumsy D-rings. The strapping is definitely below the quality and grade I expect from a Shoei. The awkward feel of the D-ring as you work the strap through it is less than impressive. There is no fold-back-and-snap feature to secure the excess strap you pull through the D-rings. Shoei needs to put a lot more thought in this design. This is not rocket science.
This is only a half-helmet, so a serious rider would most likely opt for a full-face. But if you are in the market for a half lid, it's worth a look, even if the straps need some afterthought. It does incorporate the legendary Shoei padding and linings, so it has some good attributes that the cheap dog-bowl lids simply do not have.
Yes, I recommend this product.

From FORT MC COY
I have always used different helmets for different applications or seasons. One style of helmet that I have never cared for is a Half Helmet, they never seem to feel right and look funny. I recently purchased a Roadstar cruiser and wanted something comfortable to wear while riding my bike. Since riding without a helmet is just not practical or safe in some places, I decided to do the research and find a helmet I could live with. The Shoei St-Cruz won hands down. If your looking for quality fit, style and craftsmanship, then Shoei fits the bill. This is by far the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. Not only does it fit great, but it doesn't look like a big egg on your head. This helmet is light, but still offers a lot of protection. The MSRP is about $190.00, but Revzilla offers a much better deal and ships free. When it comes to safety, "You get what you pay for."
Pros Rugged, Comfortable
Yes, I recommend this product.
