New interior padding fits better than stock I bought a used Shoei Hornet DS in XXL and it fit larger than other brands. Thanks to Revzilla, I found that the shell size on XL and XXL are identical. I bought the XL interior pads and now helmet fits well. Not the quietest helmet. Also definitely more lift at speed than a prior DS helmet: AFX FX39 DS (though the AFX is a huge bubble of a helmet).
