Vintage Look, Not Vintage Price
I had previously purchased one of these to replace my rear tire and wanted to have matching tires on the front and rear. The thick black sidewall and vintage tread seem to catch everyones eye. I've heard mixed feelings about the performance of these tires in wet conditions. I've ridden around town a little while it was raining (30-40MPH) I didn't notice any issues.

It's cheap and tires only last 5000 miles anyway so I figured what the hell!

Really want to put these classic tires on a 2007 sporty 1200r with mags. Other sources say danger danger! Just want to cruise around. Any harm? Will they fit okay on stock mags?

BEST ANSWER: I grew up with the flat thread tires back on the old Duo Glides and Electra Glides...panheads and shovelheads. I put them on a 07 Ultra Glide and they don't seem to hold the weight like the old Goodyear Speedmasters. The old tires you could run them up on the edge...these seem to be fighting with the flat tread and the sidewall...both wanting to flex yet not. They have a hard tread...but i've told folks...unless you rode on these tires back in the 60's and 70's....need to be very leary of them. These tires are a 5.00-5.10/16 tire so you're talking them being about a 130/16 tire...don't know how wellt they would match up on a sporty rim. The weight of a sporty probably would be about right for them...like i said...just have to be very careful especially making turns. I got all kinds of compliments on them and they looked great on the bike...but if you've never rode on them before....please use extreme caution.
My car currently has 6.00 x 16 tires on it. How would your MT90B16 74H compare? If they will not work, let me know what you have that will
Thank you

BEST ANSWER: Your Car?!? Seriously. No these will not fit they are motorcycle tires.. and skinny ones at that. Your rim is 6" wide these are probably around 3".. so buy two and mount them side by side ;-)
