Bought shark helmet sx1 from dealer for quad riding and the first warning in owner' s manual says for motorcycles ridden on street.

It says never use helmet off road. The sales guy knew I wanted helmet for quad riding & said this helmet is for quads. Model #SX1 & serial# 007892. I would like to know if helmet is ok for quad riding?

Answer: 
Ok this answer will be a little less than definitive, but should offer you some comfort. Street bike helmets are made to use one time. When they take a hit, they are made to disintegrate in order to absorb the energy of the impact. Dirt bike helmets are made to do the same thing, but will sometimes have a thicker shell to sustain multiple mild impacts without cracking the shell. In my experience however most helmets can take mild impacts over and over without too much worry. I'm sure the lid you have will work well. Enjoy.\
