My previous helmet was a large, but got a bit loose over time. I bought a Medium in this and it fit super tight the first day but loosened up and now it's wearable.
Gets significant wind noise at 50+ mph though I'm not a helmet expert so I don't know if others are much better.
Visibility is pretty good, though i must note that if you're a "visor up" kind of rider this helmet will annoy you!! The visor flips up to just the right angle where it interferes with your vision near the top of your sight area, where traffic lights etc may be. If it only flipped up another few degrees the visor would be out of sight, but no such luck.
As far as 'features', there really aren't any, but that's OK.
One thing to note as well is that there's no chin flap / guard so the cold air shoots up from the bottom!

This is a very comfortable helmet with modest features. SHARK's sizing is a bit different from some of the other helmets that I own in that I usually wear a size S and with SHARK I had to move up to a M. Regardless the fit was right on. I tend to wear an intermediate oval shape so it fits my head just fine. Your milage may vary! The finish was nice with no noticable flaws. Interestingly enough this helmet sits on my head with the chin bar noticably lower than other brands. The first defogging detent in the shield is quite large, however, from where the chin bar sits it is not obtrusive to my vision through the shield while at this setting. I wish this helmet had eye glass ports for wearing sunglasses as it can be quite uncomfortable to put the glasses in place but, this is not unlike the SHOEI RF-1100. Although I purchased this helmet as a closeout item, SHARK has it listed in the 2011 catalog so I think it's safe to say this helmet will be around a while. I would rate this helmet as a good buy and would certainly recommend it.

Answer: 
As far as I'm aware Shark does not certify with SNELL other than with their RS4 helmets (someone let me know if this is incorrect and they are now using SNELL), however this does not mean it is not a well built and safe helmet. The company puts their helmets through testing under SHARP (Safety Helmet Assessment and Rating Program) which is a UK control and rating program however the S700 was not listed under SHARP though most of the Shark helmets rate as a 4 or 5 out of 5 in testing. The S700 is rated under DOT standards for the US and Canada as well as ECE R 22/05, INM NBR 7471/2001 (Brasil), AS/NZS 1698/2006 (Australia/New-Zélande).

Answer: 
You will find the shield for the SHARK 650/700/900 models as a different product on the website. The S700 helmet will come with a clear shield. You will have to purchase the smoke tint shield as an additional item. You can find the shield for this by selecting Helmet Accessories and then looking for the Brand SHARK or you can sometimes find it in the side bar on the web product page.
