Nice jacket Nice jacket. I ordered a medium, that is my size but I would have preferred to order a large because a jacket must be a little loose, and this one fits not tight but you dont feel free enough to move. I am 5.7 tall, and my chest measures 34, my shoulder width is 16 inches. I am thin, athletic type. My medium jacket is also a little short for my taste, a little below my waist line. If you like jackets a little loose, as I do, ask for a size more to your true size. January 11, 2013
This is a great jacket for the money The jacket looks great and is very comfortable seems very durable and the armor stays where it should. I ordered the XL baby blue, but I am a tall woman standing at about 5'11 and I have a large bust so it is a little tight in the chest and it comes an inch or 2 to short on my waist. how ever the sleeves were long enough for me and easy enough to move around in while keeping everything where it needs to be. all in all if it fits I would buy it again great product. nice jacket, but not for me I really like this jacket, I bought it in off white. I wore it once, and I received tons of compliments when I wore it. I am taller than avg, 5' 9" and wear a size 8-10 and I purchased the Large. Although it fits in the arms, and around the shoulders, it is very large through the waist and hips, and falls short in the length throught the back. AS I sit on my bike, the arms feel good, which is really hard to find at my height, but I am constantly tugging on it to fill the gap between my jackets and pants. I attach the jacket to my Scorpion pants, thinking that will keep them together, but alas the snap keeps undoing when I lean over on my street bike. Revzilla's return policy is on unused items. So, if you want a good deal on this jacket, check Ebay, I'll be looking to recoup at least part of what I spent on it. October 8, 2012
Happy I Purchased This! This jacket is just what I was looking for in a hot weather jacket. The fit is great and the air flow is much appreciated in this 90+ weather we're having. Put a tank top on under it and I stay pretty cool! Have received compliments on the styling as well. I purchased the white. July 16, 2012
Good for tall women I'm 5'11", with an average bust, skinny waist, and wide hips. Women's motorcycle jackets are typically 2" to 3" too short in the sleeves, especially when reaching forward to the handlebars. Meanwhile men's jackets have huge arms and shoulders and not enough room around the hips; the waist rides up, pushing the back armor into the base of my helmet, and the shoulder and elbow armor just floats around at random. Because of this, I wear custom leathers. Which are really hot in the summer, but what's a girl gonna do? A mesh jacket isn't very protective if the fit is so bad that the armor is always in the wrong spot - and armor that's not in the right spot, is not going to do any good in a crash. So now that I've got that off my chest, let me say that this Scorpion Nip Tuck jacket fits almost as well as my custom leathers. The sleeves are only about a half inch too short, which can be made up by gloves with gauntlets. The shoulders are the right width and the arms are the right thickness so the armor goes to the right spots and stays there. It doesn't have those irritating arm cinching straps - it's just the right size to begin with, which is a welcome relief. The lacing at the waist allows me to tailor it there to keep the back protector in the right place. It even looks pretty nice, though the tribal tattoo motif is a little silly on someone my age. The black one is more plain which I would have preferred, but white's cooler for summer and more visible in traffic, so I got the white one despite the tribal decorations. The gold one had "bling" beading on the upper arms that I'm sure my braid would catch on - if you're a long hair watch out for that. The XL seemed a little too roomy so I tried the L, and it was definitely too tight in the shoulders. So then I put the XL back on and pulled in the corset lacing at the sides, and it fixed it right up. Perfect. I bought the XL. In the very few clothing stores that carry women's tall stuff, I usually wear a Medium or Large Tall. So the fit on this is small compared to street clothes - but absolutely typical for women's motorcycle gear, which always runs tiny. It seems to be well made with quality materials and good armor, though the back protector is a little small. The venting will be great when it gets hot this summer. The tags say it is made in Indonesia. June 14, 2012
Great deal on a great jacket! My wife couldn't be happier with this jacket! She's 5'9 and 135 lbs with long arms and legs and the slightly smaller general size fit perfectly while the sleeves were perfect for her arms. This is our second scorpion jacket (I have the ventech) and we love the cost to quality as well as the style and features. June 4, 2012
My first jacket This is the first riding jacket I've purchased. I'm very pleased with the style and the fit. The airflow is great without the liner, you can definitely feel the breeze and it keeps you cool, I bought the off-white which helps. Some of the features aren't top of the line but they work, the velcrow on the zipper keeps it out of the way and so far it actually sticks together. The buttons on the wrist closure are a little tight but still comfortable when wearing my gloves. Overall I love this jacket & the price makes it a great start to riding jackets. May 31, 2012
I love this jacket, its a great fit and great deal. Seeing all the reviews I was hesitant about the size but its great I'm 5'1 125 lbs and I usually wear a medium top but i ended up going for a small and it was a perfect fit if i had gotten a bigger size it would have been way too puffy. It breathes well, very stylish and adjustable. One of my favorite features is the zipper design, because its one of the few jackets I can easily take off with gloves on as well. May 24, 2012

This jacket should be doable in the colder months of Spring and Fall, however, winter may be a bit chilly! I would say that this jacket will need additional liners under about 50 degrees. The exterior is mesh, and the liner is only a windbreaker and not thermal.

I bought my girlfriend a white one for summer. With the liner it's good for Fall riding as long as you wear gauntlet gloves OVER the wrist (winds blows right through the cuffs and will chill you quickly).

She wears it during the winter (all the way down to 38 so far) with an electric vest and electric glove liners. BTW - she HATES the cold so I've been very surprised.

One other thing - she rides with me, not solo. If you're riding solo I wouldn't recommend a mesh jacket because of the wind unless you're riding a fairing bike (gold wing, etc)

It does have a zip in liner, but it's not a thermal layer, more a rain sheet. Although I have not used it in the winter yet, I would layer up; the airflow is great, but doesn't make you cold. The color of the jacket is low so something around your neck would be much warmer. I do not know if you can buy a zip in thermal layer for it????

It has a zip-in liner. But I wouldn't choose it for my only jacket. If I needed to wear this in winter I would wear a turtleneck, then an electric vest, then this jacket, and put a rain jacket or winter coat over the top.

even with a sweatshirt under, Im still chilly on days under 50 degrees. the jacket has super ventillation, even with the wind liner. I wouldnt recommend this one for winter riding.

i don't think this could be worn in winter. it's a tight mesh front. it does come with a quilted liner, but the size runs snug and small so i don't think you'd be able to put a sweatshirt on under and be able to drive...unless you're a toothpick. strictly summer/beginning fall with liner for the cool nights.

It does come with a zip out windbreaker but depending on the temperature you may need to add a layer. I brought this particular jacket primarily for summer riding. I personally prefer to layer a perforated leather jacket for cooler weather...but then I am in Florida.

There is a foam back pad that comes with it. I replaced that with CE armor (the Joe Rocket C.E. Back Protector: http://www.revzilla.com/product/joe-rocket-ce-back-protector). The shoulders and elbows have CE rated armor.

it does have armor all around, but the back pad is foam. always suggest upgrading the back pad if you only have a foam liner. shoulders and elbows are protected for the average rider..upgrade if you plan on doing some serious crazy stuff.
