Love the look of this jacket very stylish. Has adjustable sides to contour to your body. Most reviews said fis smaller in bust but I actually found it to fit a little bigger. But works perfect with sweatshirt. Sleeves are a little long but I also only 5'1. Overall I love this jacket. I have gotten many complements on it.

I am 5'5" 126 lbs and the medium is just right. but a sweatshirt underneath would be too much and then I would need a large. But this is a summer hot weathering riding jacket, so a tee shirt is what i plan to wear underneath. Look great! very happy with purchase, shipped fast too!

This jacket certainly has the style points on it's side, and it's well made. They don't skimp on the embellishments or quality of fabric & workmanship. The armor is well placed & feels solid. I also have the matching pants, and the outfit looks great together! I was worried it might look like a silly costume when I wore them together, but it doesn't - it works & looks stylish & classy.
Sizing is a bit of an issue as most reviewers have stated. I'm 5'10/135/busty, and because of the feedback & reviews, I rightly bought a Large. I can wear a medium shirt and in Joe Rocket jackets, I wear a Medium. Even though it has the side adjustments, they really don't let you adjust as much as you need to if you're trying to alter the shape to make more than a bit of a waist. It's tight in the chest and flattens me out. I find it a tad short in the sleeve length, but unless I'm wearing a Speed & Strength jacket, that's always the case. It works enough to make me happy, and I'm very glad I bought it.
(Tall gals: Speed & Strength jackets are the longest around, and Joe Rocket pants are all 35" long to start and then have adjustments to make them shorter)
It has an inner wind/rain liner that has color coded snaps in the sleeves so you don't have to wonder if you've got it twisted down the arm. The mesh is good quality and the wind flow is very nice.
Overall, this is a good quality, safe and stylish motorcycle jacket that is clearly made from the ground up for women. I'd buy it again.

La campera tiene una hechura muy buena, los detalles y bordados muy lindos. Una mala nota para el fabricante en cuanto a las medidas, no estan bien expresadas. El largo de mangas que indica en la tabla, no es el mismo que el que tienen las mangas de la prenda, y por una gran diferencia. Un llamado de atencion para corregir rapidamente, ya que en este caso, esta prenda no la podremos usar porque es muy chica justamente en la medida que pone como referencia. Por lo demas, la prenda es excelente

I ordered this to match the Savannah Pants by Scorpion. They look so good together!
My only problem with the jacket is the chest area. I normally would wear a medium, but I always have to go to a large because I'm big breasted. I went with a large in this coat, and I still had together zipping up over my breasts. =/ Beware if you have larger breasts(DD+), ladies! It's a tight squeeze in the chest area!

I bought my girlfriend a white one for summer. With the liner it's good for Fall riding as long as you wear gauntlet gloves OVER the wrist (winds blows right through the cuffs and will chill you quickly).

She wears it during the winter (all the way down to 38 so far) with an electric vest and electric glove liners. BTW - she HATES the cold so I've been very surprised.

One other thing - she rides with me, not solo. If you're riding solo I wouldn't recommend a mesh jacket because of the wind unless you're riding a fairing bike (gold wing, etc)

Answer: 
This jacket should be doable in the colder months of Spring and Fall, however, winter may be a bit chilly! I would say that this jacket will need additional liners under about 50 degrees. The exterior is mesh, and the liner is only a windbreaker and not thermal.

Answer: 
There is a foam back pad that comes with it. I replaced that with CE armor (the Joe Rocket C.E. Back Protector: http://www.revzilla.com/product/joe-rocket-ce-back-protector). The shoulders and elbows have CE rated armor.
