Good shield, fog-free seems to work
I got gold-mirror to look like a spaceman :) Definitely like the look, and it is a huge help for keeping the sun out of your helmet (heat) and out of your eyes.
Fog-free stuff seems to work, I haven't had fog problems yet.
Still getting the hang of Scorpion's quick-change system, but I'd say I can usually change it in 30 seconds (they claim you can do it in 10).
I do wish faceshields weren't so expensive, but they seem to be that way for every brand, so I guess there's no escaping it.

no fog sheild
clear sheild doesnt seem to fit as well as the smoked sheilds.??? I ordered them the same time and test fitted them on. The clear one doesnt close all the way and seal like it should. About an 1/8" gap between sheild and rubber seal thats on the helmet. Other than that its great doesnt fog up at all.

Shield works on my exo-400 and exo-700. Product would be great if it were a little cheaper but overall happy with the product and it fits perfect.

Good shade color, slightly amber, dark enough for bright days
Good visor. Typical Scorpion challenge to change out visors. Takes a little effort to twist the release dials, but is relatively simple.
About average price for a visor.

Nice to not have to wear sunglasses
Great for daytime riding and a good fit but other than what more is there to say? I do think the price is a bit high.

went direct to the Scorpion official web site and found this answerBy nature a shield will filter some UV light, But we had our shields tested by an independant lab. What they found is our shield offers excellent UVA and UVB Protection; Clear shields block 96%-98% UVA-UVB light and Mirrored/Smoke shields block 100% UVA-UVB light. We also comply with VESC-8 Vehicle Equipment Safety Commission (Alexandria VA) for penetration resistance and shatter proof-eye protection.

I have the silver mirror shield but I'm assuming it's going to be the same. When I have the helmet on my bike and I flip the shield up, I can see through it and see parts of the helmet. However, for some reason when it's down, I'm not able to see inside when looking at reflections.I've also checked it out in mirrors and it could be that with stronger lights someone may be able to see inside but it would be very vague.
You can pick your nose as much as you want with these and no one will know.

The Dark Smoke faceshield will not offer the same color as a black Scorpion EXO-700. Faceshields just offer a tint, so it will make the screen darker but not similar to a solid color or paint scheme. Then you wouldn't be able to see.1 year ago
