perfect for bikes have accessories around like exhaust, bags etc I bought it not long ago. after installation works just FINE. alarm and sensor is together it is next to impossible mess with the bike. i have some accessories on the bike like after market exhaust etc, when you get close and spend 2 sec the alarm goes off. absolutely love it. if you think it is too sensible you can adjust the perimeter area and good to go, it is very simple. thank you June 4, 2015
Works as advertised! When I first plugged in power cable and walked around motorcycle it was a little too sensitive. The alarm would start sounding when I was about 10ft away, wanted it to activate about 1-2 feet away. Made minor adjustment and works great for me. Now I can sleep a little better when traveling. 2001 BMW R1150GS May 18, 2015

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
chad h: Perfect compliment to the alarm system, still simple, , budget friendly, and option of not using the siren and only using the cell phone monitor with GPS and proximity detection means something stored in a warehouse or garage won't alert anybody of anti theft so they don't go digging immediately for one. It also gives me the option to put the alarm on the car that I want so who could pass this up? Sep 15, 2015
Chris S asked: Is that an independent security system or does it require an additional system? Feb 21, 2015

Bryn H: No the perimeter sensor is an add on. You will need a Scorpio base system like the I900. Feb 22, 2015

Khaled S: This actually a perimeter sensor that connects to the scorpio main control unit. As such it is not astand alone unit...but the scorpio alarm unit works without this sensor. Feb 22, 2015

A shopper asked: Hi Is it possible to install just the perimeter sensor system alone in my motorcycle ? Sep 7, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Marty E: Yes, I did at first and it works great. Just install to your battery only. You will not have the lights activated when the alarm sounds if you do this. Also, be sure to check battery levels when bike sits for a while - during the winter. Even when the alarm is not on, it still pulls some charge. Later I purchased the direct harness specific for my bike so lights would be activated. Sep 7, 2015

Jason R: not really. the other sensors IE impact and tilt or part of the unit its self. if and when you have the perimeter sensor ON the others are still on as well. Sep 8, 2015

Jason S: No, it need to connect to the main control unit. The main control unit makes the alarm sound; so, if there is no main control unit then there is no alarm. Sep 8, 2015
