Delivers on what is promised. One drawback is the difference in volume that I experienced when switching between radio and intercom/phone mode. When the radio is at a comfortable volume, the intercom is too soft to be heard when it comes on. I then have to adjust the vol upwards, only to have too loud a radio playback when it comes back on again.

For phone calls the sound quality is adequate, but when listening to music on the FM Radio, it reminds me of 1969's transistor technology. There is NO low to midrange from these speakers. They need better speakers to make this a TOP notch product. If you just need communication, you can't go wrong.

The Scala Rider Q2 is amazing. I road tested it under various conditions and even on multiple motorcycles. The sound quality is excellent.
Specifics:
Quality: All of my tests were using my Cingular 8125 cell phone via bluetooth. Voice dial is amazing. Using my motorola bluetooth ear piece often misreads my voice, however, the Scala Rider Q2 almost NEVER misreads my voice, even when traveling at 50+ mph. I have probably made or received over 50 calls since I've had the unit, and NO one has ever even suspected that I was on my motorcycle. They don't make any comments like "what'd you say?", "speak up!", or "sounds like you are in a wind tunnel." They think I'm just on a regular phone. There was one call in which the person said I sounded like I was out walking -- I was riding on a bumpy road and my voice was shaking from movement. I also performed my own voice tests by calling my work voicemail and narrating my tests. I even tried a whisper test at 40 mph, thinking it would think it was wind noise and cancel it out, but it picked up every word clearly. One test started with initiating a call, then starting the bike, then taking off -- you never heard the bike at any point, including startup.
Radio: sounds like old AM radio, not recommended to adjust or change stations while riding. Could have made the adjustments easier.
Battery life: I charge the unit once a week and have not run out of juice yet. I ride daily during the week for at least 40 minutes, and often ride weekends as well. I keep the unit on and connected to my phone while on the bike, with the occasional "oops, forgot to turn it off". I generally use the phone for calls daily, and sometimes ride with the radio on. Not sure how long it lasts, but charging on a regular weekly schedule is best for me.
