Improved Boom for Scala Rider

I had to replace an older model with the shorter boom which had a broken contact (spring-loaded things you see just above the "CARDO" in picture). Since I had already trimmed my helmet to better accomadate the earlier mounting, the longer boom mike is now a bit more of a nuisance. The MPG player function is not amplified by the bluetooth unit, so at least with my Sansa Clip (and wearing fitted silicone earplugs), the player must be on max volume to hear it.
Revzilla had the best price/shipping, as usual, and they deliver quickly, so I can heartily recommend you buy one from them.

great to have an extra one incase yours get wet. it is not 100 % waterprooof but I could not ride without it. Great blue tooth system.

Not A Stand Alone Item!!!

Nowhere in the description does it say this headset won't work by itself. I ordered it b/c i just want to listen to my MP3 and don't really care about the bluetooth. The headset must have the bluetooth piece to power the speakers! This would have been nice to know before I bought it....otherwise it seems like a good product. guess i'll find out when my bluetooth piece arrives.

Great value, a must if you have a full face helmet. The added feature for the MP3 player is a great addition, you can listen to your music the way you like it commercial free!

The Scala Q2 is an outstanding product. For anyone
with more than one helmet this unit is the frosting on the cake.
