Great Gloves, Great Price
I bought these gloves for summer riding and they haven't disappointed yet! I took an ABATE class to learn some better riding skills and wore these gloves. All three days were high humidity and high 80's but the gloves never gave me any problems. The air holes really help with ventilation. It also rained most of the second day and the leather withstood the beating. I wore these gloves over 8 hours each day and the padding in the palm really helped with grip and vibration control. There probably wouldn't be a lot of protection in the case of a major crash, but it would be better than bare skin! I would recommend this to anyone who is price conscious but also wants a great-looking pair of gloves.

buttery soft, and that's about all...
Beautiful gloves, don't think there is any protection... if the big holes don't give it away boy are you in trouble... The holes sometimes line up with my knuckles, unlike other reviewers... WHO AM I KIDDING!!! no one gets these suckers for anything other than a little proetction from bugs and grit! And they are GREAT for that, they flow a ton of air and look great to boot!

Good for style, bad for function.
I ordered these in size Large, which I though might be a little too snug. I ordered an XLarge but they were EXACTLY the same size.
The first pair (Large) had a large, unevenly sewn seem in the tip of the index finger on one hand that pressed between the finger and nail. The second pair (XLarge) got about 3 weeks of daily use before the seem at the tip of one thumb came apart. Obviously construction is poor.
I don't feel these gloves would give any protection at all in your hands met the ground in a crash. Seems are obviously poorly done, the leather is thin and they are perforated heavily, and they have no knuckle protection.
The large cutouts at the knuckle look good but expose a part of the hand that other gloves reinforce. Plus, the holes don't match up with the knuckles anyway, and after 3 weeks of wear, I have round tan spots near my knuckles.
They look great if you're after that vintage style.
The are very comfortable, assuming you get a pair without any bad seems. The leather is quite thin for motorcycle gloves, meaning you can use your touch screen with the gloves on.
The price is unbeatable (unless you want actual protection).

Love the look and feel but after you get your size based on the measurements, go up one size or these will be very very snug.

Great for cafe racer style
Vintage style gear seems to be very niche market so there's not a whole lot to choose from, but this glove immediately caught my eye. Great styling and comfort.
One thing that a lot of people might be wondering is the knuckle holes... and thinking it's silly to have your knuckles exposed while riding. Well, my medium pair has holes that sit slightly above the knuckles so they aren't really exposed if I were to eat it, but they can certainly shift and expose them. I wouldn't rely to heavily on these if you need maximum knuckle projection. There are others for that.
I think these are great summer time gloves because of all of the perforations that allow maximum airflow. They are very comfortable the first time I put them on and it gets better after they are broken in. Which brings me to my next point - they look like they are worn in straight out of the package! The leather also feels high quality and stitched together great.
Would definitely recommend this!

Great fit and leather match
Bought these for my wife to match her River Road vintage jacket. She loves the fit and match.

Nice retro look, but...
If you are looking for affordable retro leather gloves that breath well, then these are great. They wear nicely and get a cool patina pretty quickly. (see attached picture)
The not so great...there is little protection. The palms are padded, but the rest of the glove is fairly soft thin leather. It's better than nothing but these are not as protective as many other gloves out there.
Because they are vented really well your hands will get cold on cooler days. I wouldn't recommend for under 60 F.
Your gloves may be different but my knuckle holes don't match up with my knuckles.
They still look really cool though. These were my first gloves and I don't regret buying them, but I will probably buy gloves with better protection in the future.
