Work well, hopefully insurance will buy me a new pair
I bought these gloves as my cold weather/rain gloves. I think they will work well on both accounts; the coldest I've had them out in is a 10 mile ride at about 30F. They kept me reasonably warm, and will do better once I put the brush guards back on my KLR. Last week I was involved in a collision with these gloves on (rear ended by inattentive driver while at speed) and tried how they worked on pavement. While my backpack and jacket took most of the beating, I did put my hand down while sliding and the leather held up well. The stitching wore through quickly but the leather parts are put together overlapping so that they still protect you when not held together. I didn't come close to wearing through the gloves, and I'm confident that they would have held up well in a more damaging crash. I'm hoping to get a new pair in short order.

Decent budget glove for cool climates
I'm mainly giving this 5 stars on "bang-for-buck" merits. The pair cost only $45 and they function well, look decent, and don't have any deal-breaking downfalls. I'd place this as a high 40s and above glove, or possibly lower temps with deflectors and heated grips. Good for cool to moderately cold climates, but I'd I'd look elsewhere for more intensive winter protection. They aren't too bulky, not not svelte either and I think they fit a little large actually. I have decent size hands and usually wear a 2XL in most gloves. I ordered these in XL and they are actually a tad...roomy. The only thing I'd really prefer is to have the wiper on the thumb instead of the index finger for better utility. Be careful with the left hand around your head and eyes. Other than that this is a basic functional glove that should carry me through most of the year's cold but rideable weather.

Great Cold Wether Glove
These gloves have been great to help me extend my riding season, they are comfortable and look great. The leather is quality especially considering the affordable price tag. They are also well insulated and provide good wind protection. The only con I have thus far would be they are too heavy for anything over 75 degrees or so, they become very warm and cause my hands to sweat. I recommend these to anyone riding early spring or late fall/ winter I live in New England and they have allowed me to extend my riding season well int the colder months.

Decent nasty weather gloves
I have big hands and these do fit well. For most people they may run a little large. Not the ultimate cold weather gloves but they are OK for my 20 minute commute down to about 40 deg.. Colder and they start to get real cold. Have not been in any rain yet so don't know how waterproof they are. A basic glove but good bang for the buck.

Good for the price
I usually get large size in gloves, so the size chart worked well. Very warm, reasonably comfortable. They bunch a bit in the palm, so the grip is not great, but somewhat expected with a lined glove. Hasn't been tested in the rain yet. Overall a good option for a fall weather glove.

Definitely not for COLD weather
I've had these gloves for several years and they are good for temps in the upper-30's to mid-50's. Definitely too warm for 60+ deg weather, and even with heated grips my hands are freezing within 15 miles if the weather is below 35.

The glove are constructed well, but the wind seems to cut through them when it's cold.

good gloves
I have these gloves about 2 months now. I have been wearing them from 50F to 30F, dry and rain days.
Before I have these glove I was using snowboarding gloves, which is too buckle that I had a hard time to adjust the feeling for clutch control. I have no problem in clutch control when wearing Taos and they fit me very well.
As lots reviews described, Taos gloves are very good for 40F+, even in rainy day, the outer layer is soggy but my hands are dry.
I have wearing Taos once in 30F, my fingers instantly feeling cold after one minute, and was pretty painful on freeway. I plan to use my snowboarding gloves if have to ride below 40F, not Taos. I am a skinny person so sensitive to cold, and I am in Seattle area.

Decent Glove, takes a while to break in.
At first I didn't like the glove, it felt stiff and the lining bunched up too much. As I wore it, and the leather broke in, the glove fits better and better each time.

Nice gloves for the price. A little bulky.
These gloves function well in temps around 30 riding at highway speeds for at least 30 minutes. I am not sure how well they would work during a longer commute or at lower temps, but I would be willing to give them a try. The biggest negative is that these gloves are somewhat bulky. I ordered my size based on a pair of Oakley gloves because I could not find a size chart for these gloves. They ran a little larger than my Oakleys. Please note that I rated these as excellent on air flow because I was looking for something to block air flow in colder temps. These gloves accomplished that task.

Nice midrange glove
No complaints about these loves at all. Fit is dead on: no 1/2" spaces at the end of some fingers and tight on the others. Stitching and finish are above average. Neck of the glove is a little short. I'd prefer it a big longer. Touch is a little dulled but it is still there.

I needed gloves to keep my hands from freezing. I like how the leather looks, and also the thickness. I don't care how bulky they are either. I also bought these utilizing the black friday offer since I'm still shopping on a budget.

Well....Winter is Coming. Wanted something inexpensive for my first winter glove..my other glove isnt quite cutting it in this cooler morning weather. Would have liked some armor on it but hard to beat the price....maybe my next set i'll go with something more expensive but this should do the trick for this year and a few more hopefully.

I needed gloves that work in the cold of Missouri and my long trips to school and work. The video made the final decision easier.
