River Road Laredo Gloves 4.1 5 17 17
Seems to be just what I was looking for. These are replacing a simple leather pair of gloves that I have used for 20 years and these seem like they will be just as good. Size seems correct except the fingers are just a tad long but I am sure they will mold to my hands through use as the others did. August 17, 2015
Great deal for a $30 pair of gloves I bought these gloves because I'm currently on a tight budget, but still wanted a quality leather for protection. These gloves did not disappoint. The classic leather design means they will go with pretty much any style of bike your want to ride. The weekend I first wore these, it was 100+ degrees both days, and I had no trouble with sweating like I thought I would. At some points in the weekend, my hands were hot and I wished I had bought perforated gloves, but even a better ventilated pair of gloves would have had their share of discomfort in that type of summer weather. The glove fit exactly as advertised, although if your hands do get sweaty, you may need to tug on them a bit because they are snug. The only dislike I have for this pair of gloves is the strap that secures them. The leather bad is too skinny and the design wraps around half of the glove, which means the strap may end up on the wrong side after you take them off. Every time I stopped and took the gloves off, I ended up fidgeting with the straps before putting the gloves back on. Overall, a great value for $30. July 30, 2015
Nice gloves I was looking for leather, non-perferated, inexpensive gloves that I could treat with mink oil and make them water resistant for wear in the rain. These gloves fit the bill. I've worn them in the rain and they were comfortable. The palm padding is just enough without being intrusive. I've not worn them long enough to judge their durability. As mentioned they are inexpensive, so replacing them after my kind of use is expected. They tend to run small so I reccomend ordering a size larger. June 15, 2015
Perfect old school glove Nice leather, great construction quality and sized right. Brando would have loved these. Comfortable but maybe not a summer glove when it gets over 75F in the bright sun. Definitely recommended if you like a proper classic cruiser glove I suggest you give these a try. If you wear a large, order a large! Sized right on. May 27, 2015
Great bang for the buck First time rider, and I ordered these gloves to hold me over until I can decide what I like in a glove. When they came in, they were a bit small (long fingers), but the leather seems to be stretching out to fit. The gel pad at the palms seems to do the job, but it extends too far out for me. The gel pad extends right up to the base of my fingers, and that causes me to reach around it with my fingers to grab the throttle, causing excess fatigue. All-in-all, a good all around glove. Fantastic These gloves are nearly minimalist by design, and for the price they are astounding. Comfortable, good looking, and with just enough padding to keep your hands happy. If you're looking for something classic and basic, these are a great choice. March 2, 2015
Not made for the woman at the helm I bought these gloves hoping for some wind and ground protection (just in case). I was disappointed that they flared out at the bottom just below the Velcro attachment and left several inches of my arm exposed. I purchased some Joe Rockets that covered a little higher on my arm to account for reaching for the handle bars. April 6, 2015
Good value for casual riding. I have a confession to make, I bought these gloves not for riding, but as a cheap pair of driving gloves. That being said they are supple new and have virtually no break in, they fit well with only a slight space between the tips of my fingers and tip of the fingers of the glove. However they're as about a basic a glove you can with the only thick leather under the palm, and no armor over the knuckles; not sure how well these would handle under a bad accident, and they're definitely not a warm pair at all, so obviously not something to wear during cold days. Regardless of that they do look good and I imagine since they're about as basic a glove you can get they probably look good with any application, whether you ride cruisers or sportbikes February 10, 2015

John C: Great for those cool mornings, keeps my hands warm. This is my 2nd pair. They are not waterproof, but I've already worn them in rain and they do not mark your hands like some of the 'cheap' leather gloves. Very durable and the gel pad works great to reduce vibration from hand grips. Aug 17, 2013

Joseph B: Moderate weather only. Great for breaking the wind at temps above 55 degrees but with the wind generated from riding and cool temperatures, the heat removal rate is too great for your circulatory system to keep your hands warm. Great for late spring, summer & early fall riding Aug 16, 2013

Gabe B asked: What does 7.5 to 8.0 inches mean? Sep 30, 2014

John C: The specs say "palm circumference". I would expect if you measure across your palm and around the back of your hand, that would be the measurement. I wear a size 7 on my ring finger and got these gloves in a ladies small. I don't like my gloves loose so I have a better grip on my hand grips. This is a great pair of gloves, and my 2nd pair. The gel pad helps to limit fatigue on your hands from vibration. Oct 1, 2014

A shopper asked: What does 7.5 to 8.0 inches mean? My hand is 8.0 so should I get that measurement? Sep 30, 2014

Keith L: I would err on the side of larger. I bought my gloves a little bit bigger then my hand measured, and they are almost too tight to wear. These gloves are small in the width of the hand. My finger length is okay, but they are tight across my palms and back of my hand. Oct 1, 2014
