River Road Double Zipper Field Boots
River Road has made a high quality boot to keep my feet safe. The zip down feature allows for easy removal of the boot without having to undue the laces, which is nice when its been over 90 degrees and you really need to let your feet breath. I am however unable to get the boot back on easily without removing all the laces, but that being said i do imagine in a few months the leather will stretch and allow me to easily get the boot on and off with only the side zippers.
Best feature of the boot, beside the quality of materials and the safe feeling i get from them, is the lack of visible logos. There is one logo on the laces but that can be easily removed.
My only thing i am not too keen on is the heel size. Being 6'3'' the one thing i don't need is additional height, felt uncomfortable first couple wearings because i have never worn a heel so high, but have gotten comfortable and doesn't bother me while on the bike.

For the money, good boot
For the money, this is a really good boot. Durability, quality and fit all seem to be really good. The insole is a little hard, but that may break in, and if it doesn't, I will be happy to spend a couple bucks on some gel inserts. The zippers on the sides could be a little longer, it would make the boot a little easier to put on and take off. Have to undo the laces a little more than i would like. Both issues are very minor though. I would buy this boot again. Good value.

I really like these boots. they feel good and my feet and I feel their good grip and tread whenever I put my feet down to stop, no slipping. They do get a bit hot on the inside but nothing crazy. Great ankle support, recently dumped my bike and the leather held up fine, and the boots most certainly saved me from breaking my ankle. Well worth the money spent.

Great boots except for one thing.
I bought these shoes because I'm short and wanted extra height. I feel more comfortable with these on with my stop and go commutes to work rather than my Dainese TRQ Race Out, rather than sliding my body a bit to the left to get full ground footing on a stop. The one thing that is bad about these boots in my opinion is that I can't just unzip the side zippers and slide my foot in. I have to unzip the double zippers and untie the laces down the midfoot area or to the navicular bone area. For the price and the height it gives me it's not bad, but I'm still in the market for sportbike boots that adds about the same sole and heel height. Let me know if you guys know one.

Awesome boot for short rider. About 1/2 size bigger so order accordingly.
This is my second pair of this boot. Love the traction and extra heighth.

Boots are worth looking into.
I am 5'4" and own a BMW F800ST. I have low seat option and I need a boot with a high sole and heel so I can get my feet planted on the ground.
I drove out to my local motorcycle shop and saw these boots. They were $116. I love leather and concern was will I be able to place foot under shifter to ride. I am the type that likes to switch gear fast to get up to speed. Well, it took about an hour but I noticed my big toe can feel the shifter and I boogied into work without shoe issues.
Granted, there are many boots out there and some are just TOO EXPENSIVE. So, I have a $116 pair of breathable and can be tightened to not breathe shoes and I will not feel put out in 2 years when I need another pair.
Yes, I will loosen boots for air and I am sure people will say "if you get in an accident you'll want those shoes on you to protect you." I know a better idea. If I were in an accident and my shoes fell off, thank God because I wouldn't want my foot to be in my boot and I was thrown 20 feet away. Stinks having no feet.
Shoes are true to size so no need to convert from overseas measurement to U.S. equivalent.
Small bummer. Made in China. I would rather pay for a boot made in U.S.A. at relative same price point. I would pay $149 if USA. Just to keep it in our economy.
I think it would be great to visit a retailer that sells U.S goods and have a weekend sale on those items. Harley does a great job with this but now they are sending items overseas.
I trust Revzilla as a top notch organization. Problem is people can get price match at dealership and they will remember you and perhaps you meet the service manager and parts manager and tell them if they will meet parts price when getting a repair you will stick with them.
Same as apparel. I bought BMW Motorcycle and they wanted $700 for a particular Arai Helmet helmet and on Revzilla for $440 so dealer price matched and threw it into my financing.
