High quality with great features. Look and feel great I looked for a long time to find the quality, design, color and features I wanted. I did not have to compromise any of them with these chaps. To my surprise was the cost, I had looked at more expensive chaps that do not even compare to these. I got everything I wanted and at a great price. January 2, 2012

Answer: 
After looking at the chaps in person, the product image is actually a fairly accurate portrayal of what the chaps look like. In person, the chaps were slightly darker than what is pictured, however they do have a brownish look to them. They are not a traditional black color, but are rather a washed dark brown/black.
