Answer: 
The River Road Boulevard Waterproof Boots are a great Spring and Fall option but will not be the most breathable option for summer. Please check out our Summer Gear Guide for warm weather riding options.

Answer: 
I find these warm for summer use. NC is as hot as SO CAL but way more humid. Just make sure you wear socks as tall as the boot is, otherwise your leg will sweat and rest against the boot which to me is not as comfortable. They WILL keep you dry in the rain but there is no air flow at all.
