Warm but faulty design

Once these came in, I immediately tried the right hand. I liked the style and its exceptional warmth. It was a little difficult to squeeze my hand through the smaller wrist section but once in the fit was nice (I have relatively wide hands for my size--XS/S). Unfortunately, when I went to put on the left glove, it was basically impossible to get my hand inside. I believe that one of the layers inside would slide along with my fingers instead of remaining intact, causing itself to bunch up inside the glove and block my fingers from getting through. With that, I had to return them. I suppose I could have just been the unlucky one to get the faulty Rev'It pair, but I've decided to buy some warm liners to go underneath my Alpinestars. If the left hand fit, these gloves would get my five stars.

I live in Central N.Y. it gets cold early and stays cold. I have been riding every chance I get, in fact yesterday it started to flurry while i was riding, my hands stayed warm, really warm. I am an ex-smoker and my hands get painfully cold at times, not in these gloves. They are not bulky and I can feel the throttle perfectly. I love them and highly recommend them.

I used the size guide to measure my hand, with my fingers spread apart. Initially I though the gloves might be a little small, but you need to break them in a time or two for them to fit perfectly. They are toasty and warm, and I am looking forward to testing them in the crappy weather ahead.

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
