Nice jacket, tricky sizing

Fits 2 sizes smaller

I've been riding with this jacket for a couple of weeks now. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of the construction and the thorougness of the engineering. Lots of pockets, the liners fit together in an ingenious way, and the zippers seal up really well.

Sizing with this is tricky. I'm usually right between a Medium and a Large, so when they said that it runs small, I was looking forward to a Large that fit just right. Truth be told, I should have gotten an Extra Large! The Large fits ok, but once I add the warm liner, it gets pretty snug. I don't notice it when I'm on the bike, though. The adjustable neck snap is really clever, I just wish it were MORE adjustable.

The closure system is a little fussy and if I don't do it just right, it scratches my neck. Now it's just a habit and I don't have to think about it. It seals up nice and windproof, and really keeps me warm, dry and comfy.

I do wish it had more retro-reflective details on it.

All in all, this is a terrific jacket. Just remember that you'll probably need a size larger than you think you do. At the regular price, this jacket is reasonably priced. At the sale price, it is a steal!
