bought this jacket on sale on line. It fits true to size. The pockets and zippers are all functional. I like the zipper closed tab down feature. The liner is smooth and good quality. You will stay dry with the liner in. The liner has no pockets. I took all the honda stuff off with a 2 dollar thread cutter, uncovers all the mesh.

i am 6'4" tall, aprrox 230lbs, my chest is 46 and my waist is 38. will an X-large be big enough and roomy enough, or should i get a XX-large ? also, are the shoulder and elbow pads soft, lightweight, and comfortable, or hard and bulky ?

I'm 6'4" and about 200lbs and would fit an XL with space. I would suggest a 2XL for you in order to have enough room to layer up underneath. The protection is standard CE armor, so it isn't as fancy as some of the newer types like D30 or Sas-Tec, but they do a good job of situating the pieces in the jacket so that they are comfortable.
