I picked this up a while ago to keep my bike safe in some of the sketchier areas around town. This lock is monerterous! It is a very heavy system that eats up a lot of space in a bag so be warned hat you might want to think twice about carrying it around all the time. Being a bigger guy, I found wearing it as a bandoleer Is the simplest method of transport despite beeping a little cheesy to have a big chain around you if you are not on a big layback chopper. All that said, unless the thief is disassembling your bike on the side of the road, cutting down the lamp pole you chain your bike to or has the jaws of life to cut through the chain, your bike is not going anywhere. Mine came with 5 (yes, five) keys so even if you loose one set, you will have lots of spares! You do need a very tight rigid point to past the shank through the frame or disc. Great piece of mind lock for storage in an underground parking garage of an apartment around a water pipe or drive a big lag-style eyebolt into the ground and you don't have to worry about someone rolling your bike away!!
