Chose this jacket because of the cordura, CE armor, air flow and price, I’m very happy with it, lots of nice features that make it enjoyable. Live in Cancun and keeps me cool as long as I’m moving.
Had a slow speed crash this weekend on a dirt road with a big patch of fine fluffy sand, landed on my side and rolled a few meters, ending up in the hard dirt, the jacket is completely undamaged and I only got a small scratch on my arm from and internal Velcro, found that the protectors tend to slide a little bit, solved it by adding a piece of bungee on the forearm and now everything is perfectly in place, this is not a downside as I have never had a jacket that fits perfectly, was just a 5 mins tweak.
The cut is definitely on the chubby side, although it has straps to adjust it be aware that is not at all a slim fit.
The liners are very good, haven’t had a shower yet but found out that the rain liner is just big enough to be used over the jacket instead of under, this’d add extra protection against the water, with minimum visibility sacrifice as also has reflective strips.
Overall I’m very happy, got it with the Airglide pants and they are awesome!!
As a note of caution, the product is made in China, so if you are going to have it internationally shipped might be an issue, as it is in Mexico with Chinese textiles.
Yes, I recommend this product.

It is such a warm jacket for 40's and 50's. I am very happy I got this, and now just need some new gloves for colder weather. I'm looking forward to trying it out in the heat since it appears to have great air flow.
I feel extremely safe now compared to just wearing a Columbia jacket. I'm so pleased with the comfort and extra feeling of protection I feel with this jacket. So worth the money, and compared to other jackets this is a steal! Buy it, you won't regret it to be safe!

I didn't have a jacket most of the summer because of the heat. I picked this one in Hi Viz and without the liners it is quite comfortable. But like anything, if you are stopped at a light in direct sun it will get warm. But as soon as you move again all is good. I am very happy with Olympia products and feel they have good quality and fit normal sized people.
I haven't used the insulated liner yet, and have only used the water proof liner to help block the wind on a chilly morning. But I do like the flexibilty of having two liners.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I looked around a lot before deciding on this jacket. I'm 5'9" and 169 lb and the medium fits perfect - a little snug with all liners, but not uncomfortable. Material and craftsmanship are top rate and I'm very pleased.
Only draw back is that this jacket is being phased out and I had to settle on my second color choice - but it is definitely growing on me.

First off the reason I'm writing about the Viper mesh tech jacket is because of the Airglide 3 mesh tech overpant that I purchased last year and wore on a 6,000 mile bike trip. These pants were great providing what I feel is good protection which, fortunately, I haven't had to test, comfort and tremendous flexibility. I wore these pants through heat, cold and rain and the wind/rain liner worked very well. I had the liner out, in and when I needed more warmth I donned under armour long underwear and had plenty of room. That's a lot of flexibility providing many options for lots of weather conditions while providing protection.
So, I figured if Olympia pants were that good I would try the Viper jacket for this year's trip. I will leave for another big trip soon but have worn the jacket without the wind/rain liner and thermal jacket in 105 degree heat here in Oklahoma and it's going to work just fine. About as comfortable as you can be wearing something that is going to protect you in case of the unscheduled get-off. Lots of air flow in both the jacket and aforementioned pants. And like the pants, lots of storage room and pockets which you need on long trips. I'll know more about the Viper in a few weeks after the trip but I have lots of confidence that this will be my jacket of choice for touring. The quality, to me, is obvious and it is also apparent these are motorclothes that are designed by people who use their own products. How refreshing that is! Hope this helps. Lowrider from hot and windy Oklahoma (sometimes cold and rainy, too).
Yes, I recommend this product.

Im 5' 6" and weigh 135. Usually buy a 38 S Suit. I ordered the S initially which was too small and changed it for the M. Overall this is a great Jacket, in terms of flexibility and 3 season use. With all 3 liners in it is a snug fit. The sleeves particularly seem undersized at the wrists. I have tiny wrists for a man and yet feel its tight- The side pockets (as another reviewer noted) are badly placed and require quite a bit of flexibility to access. Also a bit tight at the waist. The shoulder armor seems to slip around and needs to be repositioned after wearing. However these are small gripes. I have only had it for a few weeks and used it with all 3 liners in 40 degree weather for a 15 mile ride comfortably, as well as a 70 deg ride with the rain liner. Styling is great, and it seems well constructed. Im a new rider and so have little experience for reference, but I would recommend this overall. I ordered the airglide 3 pants later which is a testament to the brand- also satisfied. Waiting for warmer weather to test out the jacket with no liners. Ive also used the liners as a casual jacket and its nice to have that option once I get to my destination and not walk into a room with "biker" tattooed on my chest!
Yes, I recommend this product.

I was able to try on Olympia's Airglide jacket in a medium. With all liners in it was a bit snug but with liners out or just the windbreak in fit well. As I want to purchase a Viper jacket, I was wondering if the cut is similar to Airglide.

Answer:
I don't know about the Airglide. But I wear large and large in the Viper with both liners fits just fine. With the liners out there are adjustable straps which help to snug up the armour. Probably if you are going to error, error on the larger size. lowrider

Answer:
We would suggest choosing the medium size in the Viper jacket if you liked how the medium size fit in the Airglide 3. There is not a jacket within Olympia's line that fits drastically different to warrant a change in size from one to another.

Jacket Size Guidelines
We suggest you use these size charts as a general guide. Variables in weight distribution and height may alter the appropriate size range indicated. As a general rule Olympia Jackets are designed in America, with an "American" body in mind. As such, you will find that Olympia tend to fit more generously then European brands (such as REV'IT, Dainese, Alpinestars and Spidi). If you are in between sizes, we recommend to you to err on the smaller side.

Pant Sizing Guidelines
Olympia pants fit true to size. If you intend on using them as overpants, please go one size up.

Inseam Lengths
Olympia pants are cut with generous inseams to accommodate various riding positions. Olympia EZ hem bottoms (can be hemmed up to six inches) and adjustable knee armor help riders achieve a custom fit
