Great bang for the buck Great fit and a cool looking helmet. True to size, but very loud! September 6, 2011
A modern take on a vintage helmet! The NEXX X60 RAP exceeded my expectation in most areas. I am a first time rider and did not know what to expect from the comfort of a helmet like this. It's wide open view face shield and pocketed areas for the ears makes this helmet almost invisible to the wearer. The only thing that you really feel is the chin strap. The soft matte black is very high quality and has a subtle rubbery feel, which is very nice. The padding at the rear neck area is very comfortable and the quick release chin strap is super easy to operate. A minor setback is the operation of the face shield. It has a nice positive locking position when up, but not when it is down. It holds snug, but does not have that positive lock sound/feel when moving it into the closed position. You just pull it down until it will not go any further. The other issue I had was what appeared to be a hand ground edge on the center of the top edge of the visor. It is not that noticeable, but seemed out of place for such a high quality fit and finish helmet like this one. Revzilla customer service was absolutely awesome and researched the issue for me. They found that every helmet they had in stock had the same detail. So we chalked it up to a manufacturing process and let it go from there. The helmet comes with a light duty carrying bag which is nice for storage. All in all the helmet is fantastic and turns heads. I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone considering and open face modern take on the retro or fighter pilot inspired helmets. July 25, 2011

Answer: 
There may be some way to remove the large X's (and perhaps even the large N and the large E), but the Portuguese manufacturer who makes the helmets was shocked when I asked, and said, "If you try this, you will damage the helmet!"

I guess that's a no.

I don't know, but you can always get a custom paint job on the helmet. Or put decals over them!
