My feet are hard to keep warm. I sweat a lot then freeze. I try not to over dress but doesn't help much. These socks have helped. I was freezing at 45 deg. I can make it to 30 deg. Now. I am thinking of going to Gerbing electric socks or inserts since I commute to work everyday. But socks feel comfortable and look Rowell made. A little on the large size.

Very tall, and thick
I got the large, and these socks go just about up to my knee. They are thick, which is good in a boot. Just wearing the socks I can feel air flow through them, and wearing them in boots on an 80 degree day my feet didn't feel overly sweaty. The velcro on the boots pulls the material a bit though, I don't know if that's going to be an issue long term, I'll just try to keep them from touching.
I couldn't find this info anywhere online, but it's on the package:
- 65% Hi-Bulk Acrylic
- 20% Worsted Wool
- 15% Stretch Nylon

Thick, Comfortable Socks that work in the summer and winter
Overall, I have no complaints with these socks. I purchased them because I needed to spend a few extra dollars to get free shipping, but I was pleasantly surprised and I'm not sure what I would do if I had not purchased these.
They are typical thick boot socks which makes them very comfortable and perfect if your boots have a little bit of room in them, which mine did. I was happy with the comfort, but I wasn't sure if the socks would be too warm for summer riding. However, I can tell you that i have been wearing these in 80-90 degree weather and have no complaints. They really do the job, keeping my feet happy. Also, they stay pretty fresh...I am able to wear them several rides without washing them as long as I air them out.
Overall, I am happy. I'm sure that you could find a better deal on socks, but for me they were cheap because of the free shipping bonus. If you want good boot socks that also work well in the summer, but aren't as thick...look at underarmour heat gear boot socks. They are thinner, but also very nice.

For the money, these are more comfortable than another sock cost more than double the price
I bought 2 socks and decided that these were a better value and more comfortable sock to wear. As soon as I put them on I loved them. They are VERY comfortable and my feet stay dry. The extra cushion makes these less technical and they are not compression fit which I guess I like. I'm not sure that these are really good for hotter days, but they do claim they wick sweat and keep your feet dry. Because of their fair price and comfort I might not care how thick they are in the summer as long as my feet stay dry.
They truly are the best socks for me when I wear my TCX Infinity GTX Boots

Thick sock. Not for summer.
Time will tell. Too thick for summer wear. Comfortable though and fit is good.

Exactly what I was looking for!
Compared to others, the price is great. These socks are really thick but still work great even on 90 degree days. I wear a size 14 boot, I am 6' 4" and have larger than average calf size. They fit perfectly (the biggest size) and end right below my knee. Overall, I am totally happy and would buy these again (already bought 3 pair)!

Soxx it to me!
Great socks. The padding is right where it should be. They are very comfortable. Even though they are heavier that what I was wearing, I am confident they will work for all year round.
