Good oil Everyone has an oil bandwagon they like to ride. I'm a Mobile 1 guy. At any rate, I order this oil and was surprised to find out the next day that Advance Auto and O'Reilly sell it for $10.99. It was the first time I was disappointed by RevZilla pricing. September 11, 2015
Good for street engines Good for my WRR. Wouldn't use in my MX bike. Run about 2000 miles on this stuff in my 250. March 5, 2015
Buttery smooth oil I just did my first ever oil change. I'm not in anyway an export on engine oil, but I can vouch that after flushing out the old mud and poured in this goodness, there was an observable increase in the smoothness of my engine. The engine also sounded a lot smoother too. I'm very happy with this product, though probably I will try a different brand each time I change oil until I've tried all major brands. August 30, 2014
Stays cleaner longer and clutch slip is much smoother This is the first time I've used Mobil 1 but it will now be my go-to oil! Predictability of clutch engagement is so much better!! I was amazing my riding buddies with my ability to keep the bike upright while rolling smoothly at 1-2mph while in stop and go traffic, while parking or at traffic lights. I started to worry about clutch burn but the oil in the sight glass remains quite clear after 700 miles. Go Mobil 1 you won't regret it! May 19, 2014
trusted brand soaked the clutch plates in this and i'm sticking with it. plus its only $10 at my local o'reillys auto parts. February 3, 2014
Noticeable Difference Bike: 2008 Yamaha R6 After changing out the oil I noticed an immediate difference in terms of smooth shifting and performance in the bike. It felt like there was a slight power boost so overall I would suggest this oil for any bike. I hope this helps! December 17, 2013
Great oil. I had been using the Honda HP4 synthetic blend in my CBR. I was skeptical about using anything other than Honda oil. My brother owns an R6 and he switched to the Mobil 4T full synthetic. He instantly experienced smoother clutch performance and better shifts so I made the switch. Its like riding a new bike. Pricey but worth it. April 12, 2013
Great Oil! The bike feels smother. I went for a short ride and shiftting felt great! April 9, 2013

A shopper asked: Is this Oil good for 2001 Ducati Monster 750?
The manual recommends Shell Advance Ultra 4, but I don't see it sold here.
I believe this type of motorcycle has "wet clutch".

If this is not the right oil, which one is?

Thank you!

Charles P C: I don't know about your Ducati but this motor-oil is specified for my wet, multi-plate clutch Triumph Thunderbird 1600 (which specifies a semi or fully synthetic 10W/40 or15W/50 motorcycle engine oil which meets specification API SH (or higher) and JASO MA).. Dec 22, 2013

Lane S: It absolutely is. I have a 1098 that suggests the same Shell Advance Ultra 4, but I have been using the Mobile 1 10w-40 for quite some time and it works just fine. Jan 13, 2014
