Sticky tire for pulling good times Great value for a competitive tire. The dual compounds are a great value if you're considering other track tires. I'd recommend tire warmers, but have seen these on the streets. They won't last long on a commuter, but if you live close to the canyons, it'll last you a few hundred. On the track, I've had two days so far with good wear, plenty of life left. April 22, 2013
Best Michelin Tires Well my review is gonna be a little different because I had an issue with a set of Michelin Tires (the Pures), Michelin refunded half the cost of my next set (Got these for $211 all said and done). Before i Had these tire i was running the Dunlop GP-A 211's which so far are the stickiest tires i have had (which I also got at a discount from California Superbike School). Now although I preferred the grip of the Dunlop's, the Michelin's provided better feed back through the tire due to the softer carcass. Not only could you feel more of the road surface these tires give a better sense of the limit of the traction. With the Power One's I could feel the tire at the limit and when it broke free and slide the back end it was much more predictable and coming out of the slide was much smoother than on the GP-A's. Also, the carcass of the the Power One's are much lighter than the GP-A's. I ran both tires at Streets Of Willow and loved them both. Still haven;t gone to Mulholland Highway yet with the Michelins but If you wanna know how they due in a street comparison look for my front tire review of the Power One's. So to sum it up if money wasn't considered I felt more confident as a rider with the GP-A's but without a doubt had more Fun riding with the Michelins. If you have great throttle control I would say it all comes down to preference especially in the sense of how bumpy you like your riding......But the best advice i can give is buy them and do your own comparison. You won't be disappointed with these tires, unless your riding techniques are horrible. Youtube account Yes333Yes for videos at a later date June 15, 2011
