Kryptonite KryptoFlex Loop Cable
no theft has been attempted
This rope is really easy to use. I do connected it with a kryptonite chain and Lock as well while it is not being attended like at home. But I do hope it holds up when if that time comes. I chose to get a M796 as my first bike. I do hope to have It for a very long time.

This is a good cable, but it does take some creativity to figure out how to wrap it around various parts of your bike to ensure it is secure, and so it won't allow your jacket, helmet, etc. to fall on the ground. I use this with HelmetLok II Helmet Lock.

Good product, but wish plastic thinner
I bought this cable to use for a helmet lock and it said it was thinner than other lengths but the rubber shielding was so thick it didn't fit, wish there was a size comparison photo. Overall it is built VERY well thoughp

It Does What I Bought It For
Currently using it to secure my bike cover. Will it stop someone w/a knife or scissors? No, but hopefully it will secure the cover from wind and the random knob who tries to snatch it off the bike.
It's seems sturdy enough to use for other applications; securing helmets, jackets, etc. to the bike and annoying the opportunistic thieves.

Does what it's supposed to....
Simple cable that i used with a padlock to lock my helmet or jacket to my bike's cases or rear luggage rack. I wouldn't leave it locked over night or anything, but it's perfect for leaving your bike to run in to a gas station, rest area, etc.
For the price, it's hard to beat.

It's easy on your bike
Biggest plus is the high quality coating on the cable. I feel very confident this thing won't scratch my paint unlike chain locks I've used in the past. You might sacrifice a bit on security compared to a purpose built chain, but it's plenty for my purposes and a lot of security for $30.
