Fits and looks great! I purchased this jacket for my Basic Rider Course as well as for use on my bike after passing. As a new rider not accustomed to wearing a motorcycle jacket, it was comfortable and easy to move in. The inner liner was easy to remove for the warm weather. The back straps help shape the jacket for a comfortable but feminine fit. Since I wondered this when I ordered since it almost looks purple, but the graphic color in the white jacket is a fuschia shade of pink, very pretty! April 15, 2013

I wanted a white jacket... First I have to say that I was desparate for a white jacket! I do own the 1st generation Heartbreaker jacket but in black. It's been a great jacket, just hot if you're riding passenger. I do love the redesigned mesh zipper portion of the Hb2. Lot's of airflow. I have very long arms and torso and am difficult to fit. This fits me beautifully. I'm not letting it all hang out in the back (ladies, you know what I mean...) even though I ride a sport bike. I do wish it came with a full thermal liner and not just a vest but I'll live and if that is my only issue then I must have it pretty good. June 27, 2011
Very flattering, great padding I get a lot of people complimenting me on my jacket. I got the white with pink/purple flowers. Its nice to not look like a little boy on a motorcycle and instead a girl without being way too pink. It fit a bit large but was perfect with the straps on the back and buttons on the arms. Plus you can wear something underneath without being tight. Padding was much more durable then other jackets ive tried on. Feel protected, cute and comfortable. Great Summer Jacket. The only complaint is that the sleeves are kinda short for my partner. She loves the look and doesnt get too hot especially with the mesh center panel exposed. September 13, 2010

I grabbed a black/purple from stock and it is DEFINITELY purple. Like, Barney the Dinosaur Purple. And now that song is stuck in my head.

Answer: 
It is the soft black rubber type that can be removed for washing. I have a mesh Joe Rocket with the same armor that I have been very happy with. I would definitely recommend getting the optional back protector, which comes standard in several of their other jackets.

I have pretty long arms (I'm 5' 10") and it fits me perfect. I wear short gloves and when it's cold I can just zip the tops of my gloves into the sleeve.

The sleeve length on the Small Size is 33" from the center of the neck, down the elbow and to the cuff. Hope this helps.
