Joe Rocket Reactor 2.0 Leather Jacket
Love at first ride!
I bought this used from my friends dad for $80 so it was a great buy. He had actually only rode in it once and realized it was bigger than what he wanted so it was 'like new'. The first time I rode in it, I was thinking having a jacket would suck and be uncomfortable but this jacket is amazing. With the liner out, wind gets through it no problem #it was about 48 degrees my first time so I would know#, so it would be great during hot summer days. With the liner in during my next ride, it was about 45 degrees and with a sweatshirt on underneath, I was 100% comfortable. It seems that I happen to be the perfect size to comfortably fit in an XL without it being too big. I would recommend this jacket to anyone!

Another great product from Joe Rocket!
The Joe Rocket Reactor 2.0 is hands down the best mesh jacket I've purchased to date. JR thought of everything when they designed this jacket. From the IPOD cord slot and the additional rib padding, to my favorite all time feature of the spare helmet visor pocket(ingenious!)I have an older Joe Rocket edition of this jacket that I have used to ride in the Arizona heat for the last 9 years (and I use it 8-9 month out of each year) and other than some fading on the mesh from the AZ sun, the jacket has held up beautifully. I look forward to owning my new rocket mesh for the next 10 years...Way to go Joe!! Dan"

Excellent Quality Jacket
Definitely a nice "Bang For Your Buck" jacket for those HOT summer days. Lots of pockets for small items storage and a spare visor pocket. Waterproof liner that's removable makes those rainy day rides enjoyable. Perforated leather and armor provides solid protection and heat ventilation.

First, thanks for the video review Revzilla does for most of their products. It wasn't until I had seen the review with the taller model that I became confident enough to buy the jacket. The jacket is great. It does not ride high in the torso (which for tall folks is a concern). The arms are little snug but it is a warm weather jacket. The arm adjusters keep the elbow armor in place regardless of what you are doing or fast you are doing it. The jacket is well-made and will afford the wearer protection from a spill. The armor in the elbows and shoulders are good. The back protector is not solid as a CE item (and it isn't marketed as such) but it isn't flimsy either. The rain liner is good but I will do not use it since it turns the jacket into a sauna. The jacket is great for hot days (I have used it in 110 degree days and was not more uncomfortable than wearing a long sleeve shirt). You are going to sweat so might as well be that much more safe. Joe Rocket makes a great jacket in this model and Revzilla delivers at a great price and has earned my loyalty. By the way, I am the type who spends endless hours searching for the best quality and the best price. I hope this helps. Keep the rubber side down!!

Good value. Nice look. Not for anyone with some size to their arms.
Bought an XL to get the chest and arms close but still tight in the arms if I use the straps that hold the elbow pads in place. I had to fashion some extensions out of Velcro. If your are a stick figure this jacket will fit great. If you are a body builder it will not fit so good. Aside from the fit issues which are personal this is a great jacket. Padding in the right places. Wrist zippers are nice. Ventilation is great. I'm in FL and it gets hot. Don't use the liner unless you NEED it. Very steamy. But for the price Gortex is a bit much to ask. Gives no real added warmth on a cool morning so it not an all season jacket unless you live in Hawaii. Construction is good quality. Materials are also good quality. It is prety light.

I was looking for a mesh jacket to get ready for summer riding this year and wanted to get something nice. Last summer I bought a cheap mesh jacket and the main zipper completely failed within a month, so I went looking for something of higher quality.
I ordered this jacket mainly because of the looks and the leather on the shoulders and arms. It immediately feels like quality. The leather is nice, the fit is spot on, and the armor in the forearms and shoulders fits right where it should. It is easy to adjust the fit with the straps if you need to adjust it a bit.
It has a lot of nice features. The waterproof chest pocket (even with the rain liner out) is nice and the head phone grommet is a welcome addition for some cord control. It also has a pocket for an extra face shield, though the shield for my Shoei RF-1000 was a tight fight and not particularly comfortable once in the pocket.
While primarily for warm weather, with the rain liner in acting as a wind breaker, I've ridden with this comfortably into the 50's with a turtleneck underneith.
The only downside I've found is its very difficult to clean bugs off. That aside, this is a great, high quality jacket that I'm looking forward to getting much more use out of this summer.
