Great ventilation The ventilation is great. It is very comfortable. I got a size small despite being 5 foot 9 and 170 lbs. I typically fit between sizes, thick neck and less bulky shoulders at a 40 in chest . and a 33 waist. I went small so the shoulders wouldnt rise. It fits well, but it feels about an inch or two short at the waist. I like the pockets inside and outside. July 28, 2014
Great armored Jacket for those hot summer days This jacket breathes, period. Always flowing air and keeps you nice and cool. I keep the rain liner out most of the time and zip it in for the early morning or late night rides. The Jacket breathes so well, you really don't want to be caught out in 60' weather without the rain liner zipped in. My very first concern with the jacket was how loose the armor felt. Almost like it floats around too much in the shoulders and elbows. Once you are in riding position however, the bits all stay right where they belong. I love the jacket and it looks darn good on. JOE ROCKET quality is good. JOE ROCKET quality is good. Not a cool weather jacket. Summer 70 and above wold be the starting point for me. Pockets and inside storage is good. Have been wearing it for a few days so far does the job. May 19, 2014
Love at first ride! I bought this used from my friends dad for $80 so it was a great buy. He had actually only rode in it once and realized it was bigger than what he wanted so it was 'like new'. The first time I rode in it, I was thinking having a jacket would suck and be uncomfortable but this jacket is amazing. With the liner out, wind gets through it no problem #it was about 48 degrees my first time so I would know#, so it would be great during hot summer days. With the liner in during my next ride, it was about 45 degrees and with a sweatshirt on underneath, I was 100% comfortable. It seems that I happen to be the perfect size to comfortably fit in an XL without it being too big. I would recommend this jacket to anyone! Rides: 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250r SE April 5, 2014
Another great product from Joe Rocket! The Joe Rocket Reactor 2.0 is hands down the best mesh jacket I've purchased to date. JR thought of everything when they designed this jacket. From the IPOD cord slot and the additional rib padding, to my favorite all time feature of the spare helmet visor pocket(ingenious!)I have an older Joe Rocket edition of this jacket that I have used to ride in the Arizona heat for the last 9 years (and I use it 8-9 month out of each year) and other than some fading on the mesh from the AZ sun, the jacket has held up beautifully. I look forward to owning my new rocket mesh for the next 10 years...Way to go Joe!! Dan" May 13, 2013
Excellent Quality Jacket Definitely a nice "Bang For Your Buck" jacket for those HOT summer days. Lots of pockets for small items storage and a spare visor pocket. Waterproof liner that's removable makes those rainy day rides enjoyable. Perforated leather and armor provides solid protection and heat ventilation. April 22, 2013
Outstanding jacket!!! First, thanks for the video review Revzilla does for most of their products. It wasn't until I had seen the review with the taller model that I became confident enough to buy the jacket. The jacket is great. It does not ride high in the torso (which for tall folks is a concern). The arms are little snug but it is a warm weather jacket. The arm adjusters keep the elbow armor in place regardless of what you are doing or fast you are doing it. The jacket is well-made and will afford the wearer protection from a spill. The armor in the elbows and shoulders are good. The back protector is not solid as a CE item (and it isn't marketed as such) but it isn't flimsy either. The rain liner is good but I will do not use it since it turns the jacket into a sauna. The jacket is great for hot days (I have used it in 110 degree days and was not more uncomfortable than wearing a long sleeve shirt). You are going to sweat so might as well be that much more safe. Joe Rocket makes a great jacket in this model and Revzilla delivers at a great price and has earned my loyalty. By the way, I am the type who spends endless hours searching for the best quality and the best price. I hope this helps. Keep the rubber side down!! July 31, 2012

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
JASON F: Best and affordable for my riding climate Sep 15, 2013
A shopper asked: my wife measured me at a 42 chest, 40 waist and 33 sleeve. I dont see anything on the size chart that seemed to match up. I tried on a used Joe Rocket jacket at a store and it was a Large and it seemed to fit pretty well. It was a leather one. What measurements match up to a Large leather joe rocket? your sizing chart gives that info on the textile jackets, but not the leather ones.

dustin m: I'm not sure what I measure, but I weight 175 with a stocky build and the large fits great. I can wear 3 shirts with the liner in and the jacket still fits good and if your unsure go bigger the jacket has waist and arm adjustments. Also the jacket is well made I laid my bike down at 55 on pavement and it kept me protected and you cant tell I crashed the jacket looks new. Oct 9, 2013

Paul D: I'm not sure about much of it.

The jacket I bought was size: XL

My sleeve measures 34 and the jacket fits well. There are velcro straps on each side to adjust the waist. I'm afraid I don't remember my chest measurement at the moment.

Brett T: Brad,
I thought the size chart was pretty accurate. It may run a tad large. I would go with the size chart and trust it.

I hope this helps!

Be safe!

Joe W asked: I sit more upright on a BMW GS. Will the drop tail on this jacket cause it to bunch up when I sit upright on my bike? Jul 12, 2014

Allan S: I'm on a FJR 1300, and the waist doesn't come close to the seat in the back. BTW, it's the very best summer jacket I've ever owned. It flows as good as any jacket, but it's got enough armor and leather to give you some decent protection if you should go down. AND, it looks great. Aug 4, 2014

Christopher C: Not at all. I ride on a Kawasaki Vulcan and sit sitting straight up. Just make sure you get the right size, should be ok. But yeah, mine doesn't even touch the seat... Jul 12, 2014
