Icon Urban Tank Bag

Great Product overall

Very innovative, but still some kinks that need to be worked out. Lots of little pockets everywhere, but the magnets scratch up your gas tank if you're not careful. Love the backpack straps and how it easily converts to a helmet carrier. A traveling necessity!

Good all around bag

This bag fits well on my 2002 GSXR 750. Never shifts even at high speeds. The pockets are conveniently located and this bag had the best features for the price. The material seems a bit flimsy, so time will tell how durable the bag is, no problems after 30 or so hours of summer riding.

Excellent Utility

I bought this bag for a long road trip and it didn't disappoint. I was worried about it being a soft bag but it wasn't an issue on the trip at all and actually allowed me to stuff it with a sweater in a way that made for comfy chest rest for that long I-80 stretch across Ohio!

There is a chest-side pocket that is perfect for stashing your wallet, mp3 player, toll-tickets and EZ pass (yes, they read from it!).

The backpack straps and helmet carrier make this bag a must-have when riding to events where you don't want to leave your gear on your bike. The tank bag holster has a soft pad that protects your helmets finish when you set the bag down.

I have ordered a lot of gear through RevZilla and they have never disappointed me with their customer service, fast shipping and easy exchange policy. I can't imagine shopping anywhere else!

Fantistic!

I gave myself some time to use this bag before reviewing it. I've lugged it around both on my back and attached to my tank, it works exactly as advertised.

The magnets alone are more than enough to keep it on my tank and unless your tank is covered in dust, it won't scratch bit!

It has enough space to hold everything I need for short trips and even has a helmet holder (when used as a backpack) for days that I'm forced to park in questionable areas.

I love this bag! Priced a bit high IMHO, but seeing as how there's little competition, it's not unexpected.

Adequate

It has enough room for just about anything I need to put in (to include a light packed weekend trip with the bare essentials). The material is significantly disappointing in quality; I feel that it won't last more than a year due to cheap textiles. That and the fact I worry it will fly off due to the dime sized magnets embedded (inefficient). I expected more from Icon. I came from a fieldsheer tank bag with a heavy duty flexible contour magnet plate, heavy duty zippers and military grade canvas quality material. The zippers finally went after seven years across 13 states, this new Icon "thing" will impress me if it sees my next birthday. I regret not returning it but need a bag.

Good bag, but be careful.

This bag is a really nice bag. I love the look of it and it has great features that I haven't found in any other tank bag. My only gripe with the bag is that it can scratch the tank up. There are magnets that keep it down, but the magnets are wrapped in a leatherish type material. That material is not that soft and if you move the magnets, it will leave fine scratches. I was slightly upset by that. Oh well. Other than that its a great functioning bag.
