No, it's not used. Factory muffed, antiqued if you will. So don't go and try to return it. We just decided to make it look that way. Not "distressed" like the bill on a Frat Boy's visor, but more like Optimus Prime after he's done kicking Megatron's ass.

Eye Catching and Comfortable!
This is the lightest helmet I've ever owned and the most comfortable. As a daily commuter *and* weekend rider, comfort is everything. The anti-fog visor and removable lining are icing on the cake! I admit I was hoping for a little less wind noise, but all of the other great features make up for this one small complaint.
Did I mention how many compliments I get on this helmet? It's an eye-catcher!

what a great look, but so noisy
I have been riding with this helmet for a few months now.
PROS: the comfort is pretty good. Love the graphic and the finish!! Accepted my Uclear comm system very well. Airflow good when looking ahead.
CONS: biggest of all (for me); the noise level at higher speeds! Perfectly fine if you're just putting around town, but if you hit the highway it gets pretty loud. Inject mold ear plugs did nothing, but make you have to turn music up louder... Chin vent does nothing it seems. Helmet seems to catch a lot of wind when shoulder checking on highway.
I bought the helmet mainly for the graphic; and fit(comfort)

I bought this helmet several months ago and LOVE IT! It feels great, looks great, and it feels like it can take a beating. The venting is sufficient and the ability to crack open the visor just slightly eliminates fogging on even the coldest of night (its dipped down into the mid thirties here already). Overall I have to say that despite the price it is money well spent. I mean this is your head we're talking about here and this helmet could be the choice between life or death.
