What a relief! I have a HJC IS-16 helmet in size large, but it crushes my cheeks! It was suggested that I order larger size cheekpads. I tried the XL at first which seemed tighter than the orginal ones (my helmet was purchased new in Feb). So, I exchanged for the XXL which make the helmet fit perfectly. Not too loose & no crushed cheeks & headaches! Very happy now! August 6, 2012

Just bought hjc is-16 size xl. Helmet fits nice, but the cheek pads are squeezing a little too much. Which size replacement pad would give me a little more room? Thank you.

Answer: 
The stock cheekpad size for the XL is 30mm. Therefore, the 25mm cheekpads will give you more room.
