Did not need for my grips but it's been great for other things
I was not sure if I'd need this, and erred on the side of being over-prepared. As it turned out, I did not need it for my grips; however, I have used it around the house for other materials that have broken or are loose and it does a great job. If I run out, I'd get more just as a household staple.

It's good glue, no doubt.
Pours out the tube real nice, gives precious few seconds until it sets up. Then those grips are on and ain't gonna budge. After that point it's all academic.

Sticks well and does its job
I used this to glue on the new grips I put on my SV650. There's not much to say other than it works well, the grips don't rotate at all, and everything feels good.

Better than all the other options
Holy $%!, this is the stuff right here.

I installed the Oxford Heaterz heated grips on my bike and nothing was working. I tried the glue that came with the grips and Renthal brand glue and both failed. After overnight and then some, the left grip still just twisted around.

I got some advice to use this Grip-IT and I was blown away. I roughed up my bars a little bit to have a better surface area for the glue, used this and within 30 seconds, the grip was locked in place.

If you're in need of a SUPER SOLID grip glue, this will not disappoint.

Grip It Grip Glue
This stuff is AWESOME! Just used it on my left grip, which I installed previously on a clean handlebar, with no glue, and was spinning fairly easily. I followed the instructions, 4 small drops on the end of the bar, and I put a line around the inside of the flange end of the grip, slid it on, and true to the instructions, with in 25 seconds, the grip was ROCK SOLID...no movement whatsoever! I WILL definitely buy again, if I ever need to, and DEFINITELY recommend you use this if you're having a problem with your grips moving and spinning.

It's grip glue, what more can be said?
It's grip glue. It's cheap, there's a lot in a bottle and it gets the job done.

Not worth buying
Grip came loose after a month. Switched to rubber contact cement. Haven't had any problems with that. Just wasted money on grip glue.

I'm assuming this product is different than plain old super glue. My concern is, how difficult will it be to remove the glued grips in the future? I would be using this to secure my Oxford heated grips.
CraigCBR on Jan 8, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Craig- I don't know how easy the glue would be to remove, I normally scan the ingredients of the product & go to manufacturers website for answers. After 48 years of riding, I have never had a glue that won't come off. As far as the product, I used it on my Sherco 2.9 trails bike and Suzuki V-strom 1000. Not a minutes worth of problems. As far as grip glues go, Once I find one that works I stick with it. Because for the price of the glue it's mighty expensive (and overpriced) for the volume that you get and you only want to have to install new grips once. The right way.
