Smoke visor
Bought the dark smoke visor and mirrored visor and they are great as they don't scratch easily like a cheap visor does.

Great for the price
This shield is great for the low price you pay. Great for day riding as it is quite dark. I do not recommend it for night riding unless you are in a heavily lighted area. Night commutes on low lit freeways is difficult and you will be unable to read signs without use of your brights.
Warning: Scratches very easy, take caution when storing and cleaning. Use proper cleaning equipment.

Great visor
Another A+ for GMax. This is the third visor I have from them (clear and smoke came with the helmet) and this visor is just as optically clear and correct as the first two. I ordered the Blue, which doesn't have an individual picture, but appears blue straight on, fading to purple then gold off to the sides. It fits perfectly on my GM68 and is slightly less tinted than the smoke stock visor. I love it and may be back to grab a silver (chrome).

good overall
the red mirror lens is definitly very cool, not good for night time tho. I have to order a new one because the end peice broke, which is why i bought this in the first place. my helmet dropped, so it broke. It works well when it did work tho.

Overall, a pretty decent visor replacement...
I have had the GMAX GM68s for a while now and it is a pretty good helmet. Albeit noisy, it is meant for warm weather and the channeling is amazing on the thing. I scratched the original dark smoke visor and don't want to run with the original clear so I bought these replacements (the red iridium and the silver mirrored, specifically). My initial knee jerk reaction when I put the new mask on the helmet was "How come it doesn't fit the same as the old one?" It seemed like it just didn't click all the way down to that last SHUT detent.
So, I worried, but it was short lived. The red iridium is more of a pink/gold iridium but it still looks awesome outside. I was sort of hoping for a gold lens anyways. The fit at first seemed to be wrong, but maybe it just took some settling in and some up/down motions to get into its right spot. So, it fits pretty good now (although I still find myself having to sort of hammer the visor down to shut it all the way) and the colors are good.
My only concerns now are the longevity of the colors on the screen. Seemed like the first time I tried cleaning the outside of the mask, it left some streaks/maybe rubbed off some of the coating? I don't know. I have only had it a month and it still looks real nice, so I will stick with that for now. Haven't tried out the mirrored lens yet but it seems to me a much darker tint than the red iridium, which is nice...

Great shield
I had to replace my old clear shield cause I crashed and scratched it but it's really inexpensive, the system they have to switch them is great it takes no time and the best part is gmax helmets come with 2 to begin with.

great price and looks
Bought this for my extra GM-48 helmet I have. Looks cool, but I don't know how long silver colored tint will last. I use my Shoei helmet for summer (better air flow), so won't get a lot of use out of Gmax just yet. Optics seem very good and tint is real dark.

I really like the look of shields that, from the outside looking into the helmet, is as close to black or mirrored as possible, so that the view is essentially one way. I personally think it's just a sick visual to not be able to see the rider through the helmet. That said, if anyone has any info on the tint for the dark tint shield or the smoke shield that comes with the GM68/69, I'd really appreciate the update. It's just a bit hard to see since there's one picture with all of the shields on it for this product. Thanks.
