Firstgear Temperfoam Back Pad 4 5 1 1
Great as an extra back pad I bought this pad to double up the protection in my First Gear Mesh-Tex jacket. The pocket in the jacket is narrow, so you can't fit some of the aftermarket pads. The original pad in the jacket is a heavier, denser material than this pad. This pad is very lightweight...not sure it will provide a lot of protection. You could use it to swap out the other pad if you wanted a lighter pad for extremely hot weather. Or, you could do like I did and double up your original padding for an extra level of protection. When I saw that this pad was lighter than the original pad, I decided to put it against my back, and leave the original heavier pad on the outside to take the hit if I go down. September 10, 2012
