I want to use it as a bag for my wallet, phone etc but dont want to leave it on the bike when i am away from my bike. How easy is it to zip on and off every time i need to walk away from my bike. Any other tank bag suggestions for that kind of use?

It is very easy to remove the Firstgear Laguna Mini Tank Bag via two side zippers. We would have to say that this bag is one of your best options. Another popular choice is the Kriega US-10 Drypack coupled with the Kriega US Tank Adaptor.

The top is very easy to remove but there is no easy way to carry it. No handle or strap.
