I bought these pants to throw over my shorts while riding to class. They've been great so far in the 90+ degree heat of Atlanta. I've put a couple hundred miles on them and have no major complaints. The calf adjustments help lock the knee protection in place, and the hip pads seem like they'd help if I fell over in my driveway, but not if I had a collision of any real force. One minor gripe is that the waist adjustment system is a little awkward..oh, and these pants are not very stylish walking around the grocery store...

fits true to size... im thinking go with 1 size smaller if the quilted liner is not gonna be used...
heres the deal... im a tourmaster / cortech guy... my passenger is a joe rocket / dainese gal... we have a good handle mainstream brand name gear cause we frequent the mc mega stores and check it all out... and read webbikeworld.com of course...
i chose these pants cause they had big sizes... had 1680 denier at the knees and butt... had good knee armor... minimal thigh armour... and velcro wait adjusters...
the 1st thing these things ride high on the waist... thats the way i like it... so... right on... the legs are long for my 32" levis inseam... but thats good cause with the high ride waist and the master yoga back and knee bend sport touring position... they hit my knees and boots near perfectly... the knee armor was in the low pocket... i moved it to the top pocket and its perfect... the below the knee straps are a nice accessory and the boot zippers are just long enough... the thigh armor is minimal as advertised and for me its located exactly where it need to be... the mesh is the standard tight weave... no unnecessary zippers and velcro and other booocheee here... except the quilted liner...
i still dont know why some mesh gear has to have 1 or 2 liners... seems like it would be optional... i have thrown out every liner i have ever got with my gear because a proper base layer and a proper rain over suit and electrics and you can ride in most any conditions comfortably... who stops to install and remove liners on the road... plumb nertly if you ask me...
i can tell these things are gonna flow plenty of air... ive had enough mesh gear over the years to have a handle on that... but time will tell cause its only 70 degrees here today...
we shall see how these wear... i have 4 years and 100k on my tourmaster venture air pants... i wish they would offer them as just air pants without the zippers and liners... but what the hey...
the only funky thing i can spot is the fly... there is a snap enclosed in a bag... im thinking its for the fly... which is a cod piece unit that closes with the right velcro waist adjuster... im gonna install the snap so the cod piece will stay snapped when i pull the wait adjuster...
anyway... no buyers remorse here... and i got these things in 2 days on the free shipping deal... way to go revzilla...
