I purchased these gloves to replace a set of worn Held gloves. I really hesitated buying these as they were priced well below what I paid for the Held. My assumption was that the reduction in cost would equate to a substandard quality product. Since I could not find anyone who had a pair of Held gloves in the size I was looking for I decided I would purchase the Fieldsheer gloves as a stop-gap until i could find something I really wanted. The gloves arrived very quickly, a testament to the great customer service of RevZilla. When I took them out of the package I was stunned. I had expected to find a set of flimsy gloves but instead they appeared quite high quality. They compared very favorably to my favorite Held gloves and in fact seemed to fit even better than the gloves I had paid twice the money for. They are comfortable and the contour fits naturally in my hand meaning they don't bunch up around the handlebars. The added protection on the knuckles is an added bonus and the fact that they don't stand out like you are wearing a pair of gloves that would be at home in a cage fight is an added plus. The Fieldsheer gloves are my new favorite glove and I am seriously considering getting a couple extra pair just to have as back-ups for when these wear out. Looking at the quality of these gloves that may be years down the road (pun intended) before they need to be replaced.
