So easy to use, feels very secure.
What a pain unstrapping my helmet every time I went into a store or went in to pay for my gas. I felt like I looked like I was going to rob the place if I left my helmet on. Soooo much easier to take it off and put it on now. Also, when I wrecked it held just fine and was easy to remove my helmet when I was laying on the side of the highway. Was able too transfer it to my new helmet, no problem.

Quick and easy
After reading the reviews I was a little sceptical. I bought two and they work fine. They are a little small and it takes a little getting used to but they do there job. Quick and easy to install no cutting of my helmet straps

works as advertised
Really like the quick release idea , so much easier then D rings and this works great, no tools required installs in minutes.

does what it says
Easy to install, and does what it's supposed to. I am used to a ratchet style quick release on previous helmets, which I would still prefer. This one is a little cumbersome when you're fumbling around and not looking at what you're doing. Maybe that will subside as I use it more. Either way, it feels secure and hasn't failed, and it wasn't a huge investment, so I would recommend it.

Quick, Easy, & Safe
I buy these for every helmet I Purchase. These are excellent. So easy to install and use. It is very strong. It should last a lifetime. So much easier than running the strap through the double D-ring every time.

Every helmet I own has one
I've used these clips for years, every helmet I own has one. I've tried the plastic clips and had them break, this metal clip is more secure and easy to clip and remove. I like using the clip to attach the helmet to my motorcycle when stopped to prevent theft. Sure someone could still unclip it but they would have to spend time figuring out the clip and would probably move on to the next helmet.

Got really used to one on my old helmet, had to update my new Bell, works great and eliminates fumbling with the loops when it's cold out.
J S on Apr 20, 2016
Do I need to explain why I want a quick release for a helmet chin strap. If you are looking at this now purchase one. If you already have one, purchase another for a passenger or spare helmet. Then purchase one for a friend or fellow rider. Makes a world of difference when wearing gloves and getting off quickly to walk into a gas station, store, or bank.

Tommy H on Aug 30, 2014
Need a quick release. This is the only one on the site.
Joseph P on Aug 17, 2014
We really enjoyed quick release. They're strong enough to keep your gray matter in the bucket for the corners office to see when they pick it up on the side the road. Not sure why in the United States they don't have quick release helmets. The whole rest of the world has quick release except for us. I guess were behind the times.
Jamie T on Aug 8, 2014
Buckling d-rings can be a pain. You usually remember right after you put your gloves on or have ridden away a bit. This makes it a snap.
Michael L on Jul 14, 2014
I've used these connects on other helmets and they're great! Just got a new one for the wife so its time for another one

George L on May 6, 2014
ease of use helmets here do not have bucke systems of the shelf
Have used it for a couple of years now, takes a little getting use to when buckling but it is easy to install great piece of gear.
Anthony R on Apr 22, 2014
Makes helmet use a snap, quick and easy and it stays adjusted! You don't have to modify your helmet in any way either,
John M on Apr 20, 2014
have on other helmets, beats the crap out of threading a strap.
spirit on Apr 9, 2014
I have bought three of these in the past for my other helmets. They are cheap and work great. It makes the task a lot easier. Especially when it is cold and raining.
Peacock on Mar 25, 2014
I love the quick release feature, make fastening and unfastening a breeze especially if you have gloves on no need to take them off

I want to convert my Arai Signet Q from a "D" ring to ratchet style buckle
firstoff on Mar 20, 2014
Cuts down on getting ready to ride. Mainly for convenience.
Cornelius T on Mar 11, 2014
I already have a set in my current helmet. This conversion is easy and makes it so much easier to don/doff the helmets.
Richard G on Dec 7, 2013
I prefer this to using a d-ring all the time.
Richard P on Aug 31, 2013
Easy, quicker and safer. This is used for a dirt bike helmet riding a jetski. It is much quicker for me and anyone else to get the helmet off in an Emergancy in the water.
micheal b on Aug 12, 2013
I needed a faster way to strap and un strap my twins helmets since is rare to find fast release straps

How do you remove the echo to another helmet? I am selling a helmet and want to keep my echo for my new helmet.
Jennifer B on Jan 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: A small screwdriver you can undo the prongs that lock it in place
I have an HJC helmet that has D rings and a snap that holds the end of the strap out of the way. I guess I would have to cut the snap off? I can't see that it would fit through this buckle.
Claire V on Jan 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: That is correct. I have two helmets and one has the snap similar I am sure to your's. I do not use the Quick Release on that helmet.
Will this work on a gmax 17 open face helmet ?
A shopper on Apr 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If helmet has a strap, then this will work. I like it so much I cut off the D-Ring on my Neotec.
How do u remove this?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: You have to use a pair of pliers to squeeze the Y pins together and remove it from the plastic section. Or, if you do not want to keep it for future use, cut the plastic section in half with a Dremel, knife, saw, whatever. I spent about 15 minutes getting mine back apart to use on a different helmet.
