Thing 1 on all my helmets! The Echo quick release just plain works, and simplifies the process of helmet on/off immensely. I have put these on my last three helmets, and can't see ever using a D-Ring again. March 9, 2015
Must Have This is a must have item for any helmet with D rings. It takes about 2 minutes to install and provides a secure fit. June 24, 2014
Quick, Easy, & Safe I buy these for every helmet I Purchase. These are excellent. So easy to install and use. It is very strong. It should last a lifetime. So much easier than running the strap through the double D-ring every time. June 23, 2014
it works! Easy to install on Shoei J-Cruise helmet. Quality components. I purchased this because the other helmet I use has the same type of quick release. May 27, 2014
Not what I expected. I was expecting the classic Fastex side release buckle. This is not that. Make sure it is what you are looking for before you buy it. It is easy to install. It is not easy to remove from your helmet strap. May 21, 2014
Buy 2 so you can make a sling! I bought 2 of these because I planned to get a 2nd helmet eventually. Now I decided to keep my original D rings on the helmet just so I'd have a place to carabineer the helmet to my belt for walking. Then it occurred to me that I could take a few inches of strap webbing and use the non-plastic slider end of the 2nd connector set to make a small loop to feed my belt through. Now I always have an easy way to carry my helmet and it functions like a bucket to put my gloves and head sock in. I also have the freedom to take bolt cutters to the original D rings. As cheap as these things are I highly suggest buying them in pairs. February 12, 2014
Worked as advertised, but...... Assembly was simple (instructions weren't real great though). The buckle worked just as expected. You can probably operate it with average motorcycle gloves on, but it's much easier with bare hands. HOWEVER, due to how my helmet (Icon Alliance) design the straps, the only location for the buckle to be placed on the strap was directly at the throat position - it was very painful! If I looked down with the the helmet on, the buckle would press into my atom's apple, and that was absolutely unacceptable. It's not like I have an odd shaped head or neck or anything. My helmets straps are such that there is padding sewn to them along the jaw area, so I could not move the buckle to the left or right, it had to be right in the center. Once you put it on, you cannot get if off without destructive use of tools (I had to cut through the plastic with wire cutters to allow the metal loop to be removed). If your straps are like mine, then do not buy this product. However, my roommate's open-face biltwell helmet has a quick release buckle and it's comfortably off the throat area. So it's all about what helmet straps you have! February 3, 2014
Get to riding faster! This is very easy to install. I like that you can adjust it quickly as I go with a face cover sometimes and have to take it of as the day warms up. It does take some getting used to after using D-rings for so long. January 20, 2014
