not on the road yet restoring an old yamaha. wanted this tire size. it's a dunlop. needi say more? May 21, 2015
Longtime User I had K-81s on my H1 Kawasaki and later on my BMW. In the 70s I raced that H1 on tracks in the Northeast with K-81s. They have always had good grip. Now restoring an old Triumph, they seemed to be the natural choice. These are not quite the original K81/TT 100 tread pattern. Revzilla had the best price anywhere. June 23, 2014
A good value and a great name in tires. It has the meaty look and classic design that is perfect for my cafe project. All the other aspects are secondary to the look and design. If I was looking for specific wet traction or grip, the tread design is a compromise. The design and look is what I was after when I purchased this product. I am aware of the potential short comings. jrd September 24, 2012
Dunlop Vintage K81 Tires, front & rear These tires are as good as you're going to get unless you can find some in a cool dark garage that say Made in Great Britain. Delivery was lightning fast and the total cost was very reasonable. If Revzilla sells what I'm looking for, I'll get it from them. January 4, 2010
Exact Matches This tire matched the tires my dad had on his 1966 BSA Lightning exactly. We are restoring the bike and wanted to keep it looking as original as possible and these were absolutely perfect. Rear tire in picture is not accurate, it looks very similar to the front just larger, same tread. March 30, 2009

Stuart H asked: I'm not 100% on the TT100-K70-81 thing. They seem interchangeable by name, yet they look different and come up on different searches. I know the TT100 was used for Harleys for a while, and it is the TT100 I am interested in. Need 18 on rear and 19 up front. Can you clarify?

WILLIE L: Stuart' do not buy this tire it is the wrong tire for any riding on the freeways .I HAVE PARKED my bike until I can replace them with some AVON as it was to hard to keep my bike on line. I HAVE Yam XS1100 78' THAT I got on Nov 15,1978 with 147,000+ miles on it so I Think that by now I no how this bike is suppose to ride. Willie Long. Jan 26, 2014

A shopper asked: Can these tires be mounted on tubeless rims without using a tube? Jul 24, 2011
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Sumo: There are no tires that can be mounted on a spoked rim without a tube unless you have a tube solution, such as:
Foam balls
Foam insert
Tube eliminator kit
Have a BMW with the perimeter spokes
