Dunlop Harley-Davidson D401 Tires
I wanted to keep the factory tire on the bike, to match the front, which is still very new, but also because I have had good luck with the grip and tread life. I rode it on a misty night with the tread well near the wear bars and still had safe traction to get me home. I will buy another one when this set wears out, unless I go with the white walls....

Made in the USA
Use these on my sportster. Consistantly get 25000km plus, and even then, no noticable loss of traction. It pays to buy american, the comparable 404's i hear get about half that. Spend the extra couple buys and buy the 401's.

Very good tire for this price point
This is the OEM tire for the HD Dyna Lowrider. I get about 10k miles out of these rear tires. The performance is very good for all road surfaces and conditions you're likely to encounter on a street bike.

Good tire for small HD's
These Dunlop tires are your basic tires for any small Harley Davidson. The price is very reasonable and the performance is average but they do last a long time. I have averaged over 9k miles on them throughout the years and I do ride them hard.

Great Product !!
This is a direct replacement for Harley. It arrived to me very quick and before designated time. I will definately use RevZilla again, they had the lowest price.

It doesn't get any better!
The Dunlop D401's are known far and wide as a great replacement for mid-size Harleys; my Dyna FXDL Low Ride Custom handles like a dream with these tires, smooth as silk is how I describe the ride they give. And I couldn't rate their wet road-grip since it doesn't rain in New Mexico hardly ever...
Thanks Dunlop for making a GREAAAAT tire, and thanks to Revzilla for having them at a great price!!

Run flat tire!!
First I was impressed with getting 17,000 miles out of the rear tire with lots of aggressive riding on my sportster and when it came time to changing it I couldn't believe how tough and stiff this tire is.
Then while out on a ride I was checking my air pressure and checked my friend's with the same tire fitted and discovered it was totally flat - only it wasn't! It had about 2 PSI that had built up from riding and you couldn't tell from looking at it or even while riding! He couldn't remember the last time he checked the pressure so who knows how long he rode like that. I filled it up and it held air without leaking the rest of the week.
It's good piece of mind to know that if you pick up a nail you won't be stranded. That said, make sure to inspect the tire often and check the pressure because you can't tell at a glance if it is drastically low.
