Absolutely awesome tire for a DOT knobby, performed flawlessly offroad in all conditions from gritty sandy hill climbs, big boulders, wet grass, deep sloppy mud...they do it all!

Works great if you really do ride 10% street... if you roar down the highway on a big bike KTM 950 / 990 these lugs can "melt" off the tire. That being said, these tires ROCK on my 450!

I purchased this tire to be the snow tread for my KLR, (aka. the snow queen), and also studded it for that purpose. The tread is much deeper than the TKC80's I ran the last few winters. Several inches of snow last week caused me to take the 30 mile secondary road commute. The D606 powered me up hills with 2 inches of snow on the road. It was the most fun I've had on my commuter in a long time, When the going got ruff, this tire kept me going. I love it.
